Nice looking hotel with parking close to Bristol. We booked last minute so there wasn't much choice but this was a good option. The room we had was large with a double and single bed in it. There was a kettle and tea making facilities.

We had an amazing breakfast with everything we could possibly want and exceptional service. I was completely charmed by the individual vegemite;) We stayed in Galatia on the second floor which was perfect and cozy with a luxurious private bath. The beautiful hotel and grounds, including landscape paintings by a local artist, set a relaxing tone for the start of our holiday. We were quite busy sightseeing so I wish we'd had the opportunity to spend more time on the property. Would highly recommend Berwick Lodge!

Britain’s 4th most popular visitor destination, Bristol features Brunel’s magnificent Clifton Suspension Bridge spanning the Avon River. More Brunel handiwork is in the harbor, where his SS Great Britain steamship is moored. Pirate walks here detail the city’s underground naval history.
Further north in Clifton is the world’s oldest zoo outside a capital city. Other Bristol attractions include At-Bristol Museum and the Grade I registered historic Corn Exchange with its 4 "nails" outside where money changed hands. Also worth a visit is St. Nicholas Market, in a Georgian square home to several bars and a Slow Food Market on the 1st Sunday of every month. Other Bristol shopping options include shopping centers at Cabot Circus, and Cribbs Causeway on the outskirts.
As a student city, Bristol really comes to life after dark. The live music scene here is fantastic and has given way to several internationally known bands, but for something more alternative head to Eastside.
Another option for alternative-seekers is the work of hometown street artist Banksy. Just like Booking.com’s Bristol accommodations, his work is spread throughout this fabulous city.
This Gateway to the West Country is served by Bristol Airport and Temple Meads train station. The old Bristol to Bath rail line is now a cycle route and makes a great day trip.

I used to live in Bristol a decade ago and it was a good city then, but now it's great! It has a young, fun and very exciting vibe, lots of cool coffee venues, breweries, bars and independent shopping. Really enjoyed my trip and can't wait to go back.

We came to visit our daughter but we always enjoy coming to Bristol. The artisan shops and mural clad buildings are what makes it different to other cities. Bristol has no shortage of cafes and restaurants selling just about any kind of food.

Brilliant city and equally brilliant bus service that means no need to take car into city centre. Locals were helpful while I uploaded the bus App and the drivers were courteous and friendly.
Dined at The Ivy Brasserie, it was exceptional in terms of food quality and service, really great value.
Clifton Village has some super local run cafes - a particularly great vegan offer in the Village and really worth exploring and supporting. Its worth a stroll to go to the Clifton Suspension Bridge, its a bracing walk and tremendous opportunities for great photos of the city beyond. Watch out for lots of people using escooters and also cyclists who are very active too.

Some great places to visit, but on a grey stormy weekend, it all felt quite dirt and run down. Did not feel overly comfortable walking around, particularly early in the morning, better once more people were up and about. I wouldn't hurry back.

Waterfront is great, loads of bars and restaurants.
Waterfront is great, loads of bars and restaurants. Park street is really good, lots of bars, restaurants and vintage shops. In particular I would recommend staying at the Bristol hotel on the waterfront. Lunch at the Botanist (Berkeley Square). Gin & Juice is a great bar on Park Street. The Cosy Club on Corn street is great for breakfast. The view from Clifton bridge is amazing. The Ivy in Clifton is one of the best restaurants in the Cotswold and the wine bar Clifton is great. Visiting the Bristol museum on park street is also a must do.

I have stayed in some pretty swanky hotels around the world but this was just as comfortable as any of them. The staff are super pleasant and when I realised I’d forgotten my toothbrush the gave me one. The position is very convenient for driving and I was able to park at the back which made arriving and leaving easy as I didn’t need to drive through the city centre streets to get in and out of Bristol.
I am really impressed with this hotel. It is located in the heart of Bristol city centre, along a quiet road. A member of staff by the name of Fred greeted us at reception and off the bat, you could tell he has nothing but passion for quality customer service. Overall, a great stay.
All members of the team at this hotel are warm and welcoming, helpful and friendly. For the main part of the stay the food here was nice also, the location is handy for a walk into the middle of Clifton or for a short journey into Bristol City Centre!
Breakfast & Breakfast staff were excellent - attentive & efficient
Room was very clean & well appointed, comfortable
Location of the the hotel is ideal for Bristol city Centre and local attractions
Great, spacious place, newly renovated. Not best location if you’re planning to see Bristol city centre but great if you travel by car. Very quiet area, free parking, kitchen fully equipped
