Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to soaked up.
People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laid-back coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.
The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. At the top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.
But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.
Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.

Great city break as enough to do within 2/3 days without feeling rushed. More time than that would however allow for visiting other cities in the are (like Granada and Cordoba) which are all relatively close. City itself is very picturesque and clean with the majority of the centre pedestrianised. Food is great, though you might need to balance eating in as its carb and meat heavy (we were all craving salads after 4 days)
Cathedral is the star (Colombus' tomb is very impressive), but the Alcazar has some lovely architecture and gardens and the buildings in the centre all have a lot of character. Walking along the river is also really relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing.

Weather is in the 60s in December.
Weather is in the 60s in December. It doesn’t get dark until after 6pm. Seville is very easy to get around. We walked everywhere as all attractions are within a mile of hotel. Prices for entry into key tourist attractions very reasonable. Very relaxed and friendly place. Though there are some street sellers who approach you for money or selling items, very minimal in comparison to other cities such as Rome and Barcelona. Food and drinks very reasonably priced. We found it much cheaper to eat out in comparison to UK. However you might struggle or need to research if you are vegan. I have a preference for plant based milk, I was unable to get this in 2/3 of cafés. Tea is also less available than coffee. You need light clothes, jumper for evening as it gets a little colder and comfortable walking shoes or trainers. We mostly did sight seeing during our 4day stay. We felt very safe in Seville.

I loved the city.
I loved the city. Culture, history, people, food, and as a solo traveler, it felt very safe even walking back to my hotel at night. I took some tours which were all excellent. I'll definitely go back and explore further.

Seville was a super city to visit.
Seville was a super city to visit. Very flat and easy to walk around with a multitude of restaurants to chose from and plenty to see and do throughout the city. Our only drawback is that we didn't spend enough time there.

We absolutely LOVE Seville in December when the Christmas...
We absolutely LOVE Seville in December when the Christmas lights have been turned on. It is a magical place to be (especially in the older section of the city) with lights on lots of side streets as well as the main avenues in the centre of the city. This is our third time coming back at this time of year. The daytime temperature was 12-18 degrees while it was 2-8 degrees at night. The chillier nights did not stop lots of people being out on the street, the cafes and bars were heaving with lots of people huddled around outdoor patio heaters, etc. enjoying a drink or to and some tapas.
We walked everywhere (15,000+ steps a day!) although we had initially planned to get one of the 3-day tourist travel cards for the bus and tram system. The airport bus stops are near the Torro de Oro on the main road by the river, only a five minute walk or so.

It is a beautiful little hotel, the staff are so friendly. Wonderful location for old town. Loved how quirky it is and so clean. Located in a beautiful quiet area with lots of character. Staff were very helpful and so warm. A more taditional Spanish/Moorish style hotel and so clean. My friend from Canada and i (from Ireland) were very impressed. Its not like the new chains of hotels but that add to the experience. Excellent homely place to experience the Spanish hospitality and a palce to chill between exploring Seville.
This is an amazing place, so much to discover inside the hotel complex, and it's situated right in the old town. The hotel is an architectural museum and has a totally unique atmosphere! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the piano bar is fantastic. Staying here is truly an integral part of the Seville experience!
Amazing beautiful hotel, good location for city centre. Lovely extra’s in hotel room free mini bar (didn’t use) and sweeties…. Nice touch.
Breakfast choice has been the best so far on our visit around Spain and air-con actually worked. Wish we had booked an extra night.
Amazing hotel in the middle of the old town! Despite that Seville doesn’t have sea - the rooftop pool and the bar is a great bonus during the super hot daytime! The rooms are big, clean. The AC worked perfectly and it was very quiet. The staff is friendly!
Lovely roof terrace, great room excellent staff couldn’t fault it. Ideal position for all the main sites will definitely stay here if in Seville again , one of the best hotels I have stayed in in Spain.
