The hotel is located on an ok location, not too far from the waterfall. We could easily get to the watrfall on foot. The hotel even alloved us to leave our car on the parking after the checkout time. They were friendly, the room clean, the breakfast sufficient.IstvanHungary - Scored 8.08.0
The Rheinfall is a must see.
The Rheinfall is a must see. Many restaurants were closed presumably due to Covid. We had to eat in snack-bars except when we found a Pizza restaurant. The pizza was great. There is not a lot to see in Neuhausen itself apart from the spectacular falls, but there are many possibilities to walk on trails along the banks of the river including to Schaffhausen and accross a bridge to Furlingen. I would recommend staying in Schaffhausen and either walking to the falls or taking a short train ride to Neuhausen. Some of the trails have rather steep inclines so some older people may have difficulties. Neuhausen seems to be more a back-packers hotel location and accomodation is basic but overpriced, certainly where we stayed.DavidSwitzerland
