    Full breakfast available, egg with cheese inside, bacon, sausage, waffles with strawberries and whipped cream plus all the usual coffee, juices, cereal, yogurts and fruit. One of the best breakfast. Rooms very clean and comfortable, highly recommend. Walmart across street for supplies if needed.

    There are some pretty decent restaurants there, Kin Park was a nice area to take my dog for a walk. There is a small mall which is ok for a small town. Otherwise not a lot to do unless the rodeo is there. But it is Mile Zero of the Alaska Highway!

    City is clean and people I met were friendly and helpful.

    City is clean and people I met were friendly and helpful. Enough shopping options to get what you need because you forgot to pack it. Only complaint like a lot of Canadian towns in summer, plenty of road construction to slow down travel times.

    The lady at reception was friendly and accommodating. I requested a quiet room and she made it happen, no problem. The room was very clean. Breakfast was better than at other hotel chains I've stayed at. It's nice when they offer actual cream to go with your coffee instead of just that fake creamer powder. Windows open so you can get a bit of fresh air if you're into that.

    Exceptional value considering the price includes a full restaurant breakfast. The staff were all outstanding, without exception and were in the top 10% of all we've encountered in 50 yrs. of traveling. The beds are very good. It's slightly dated but very well kept and clean as a whistle. We cannot recommend the GDI in Dawson creek too highly! It is outstanding.

    The counter lady is very friendly and approachable. She smiles most of the time to answer our queries. The breakfast is really excellent compared to other hotels of the same setup.
