A room on third floor with a view to a tall thick hedge at rear of apartment building and consequently the room was private and quiet. Bed was exceptionally comfortable and sheets were super comfortable too. Location was great for what we wanted, visiting a relative nearby. Enjoyed watching birds as well as squirrels visit the tiny verandah beside the room.

Price was what drew us to this location. Needed a bunk for a last minute trip over to the mainland. Motel is dated, but was clean. Staff were very helpful! We were coming to the motel off the last ferry (that was delayed) and weren't going to be there before the office closed at 11pm. They helped arrange a way for us to check in after hours. We pretty much just slept there, and got up in the morning and took off. Room had two beds and kitchenette, has wifi and tv.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere. We really enjoyed the amenities of the home. There were lot's of towels provided by the host which i appreciated w. Kids. The host was very welcoming when we arrived.

We were three adults sharing the two bedroom suite. It was refreshing to have three beds and not a pull out sofa or expectation to share. The room had ample space for us, bags and two dogs! Very pet friendly. Nice coffee machine, linen etc in room. The breakfast in the cafe next door is exceptional and what a lovely friendly place! The serving ladies were lovely- and each morning it was filled with local workers and firemen, a great sign for a cafe! The sea front is walking distance, there is ample green space to walk the dogs next door and loads of parking. There is great food at the pub below also. The hotel does clearly state there can be noise from the pub but we were expecting this, ear plugs are provided. This was only the faint bass from music or a live band but seemed to only be for a short time and stopped dead on 10pm. No issue for us. The English guy on the check in desk was great, polite, helpful and gave us recommendations for the area, which is a beautiful small fishing village located perfectly to drive into Vancouver or the airport if you need to.
