The rooms were comfortable with high quality amenities. The price is a steal, I wish I could stay longer but my travel to Mwanza was short. The staff is courteous and was able to help me meander around Mwanza, since it was only my second time there. I will definitely be making this my go to property in Mwanza. Thank you team for the amazing experience ☺️

I liked Mwanza for the location and the ease of getting around. Once you learn the color coding of the buses (beat up minivans) you can get around easily and inexpensively. Though expect to be crowded. Also, there are always Pikipikis (Motorcyles) and Bajajis (3 Wheeled Vehicles) available. Plus regular taxis.
It is easy to connect and make friends with the local community.
It is generally safe as other cities.

Mwanza is a very busy and safe city with loads of markets and close proximity to the Serengeti - tours are available for the day or two days taking in Ngorongoro Crater. Our 1 days safari was great with an early start and we saw all the animals we expected to see (plus more) at close quarters - with a well trained guide and very modern well equipped special purpose 4WD (Forte Tours). Check the pricing though as you will need to pay quite a bit if a foreign tourist (fair enough as this maintains the park). There is no issue with crime and we felt safe at all times during the day in Mwanza. But we did not go out at night. Truly a great place to visit to experience genuine African life and tourist sights. The Air Tanzania flight from Dar es Salaam is very good with modern aircraft and very professional staff - if the weather is clear you will see Kilamanjaro (at a distance) on the way in daylight hours.

The whole vibe. Friendly locals.
The whole vibe. Friendly locals. On lake Victoria but as it's the city of rocks there's great views too. Shopping tours and sightseeing is easily accessible. Only downside is taxi drivers overcharge if you are a tourist. Check price before going
