Tianna on the front desk was a delight to deal with, nothing was too much trouble for her and the other staff. The location is exceptional, giving opportunity for interesting walks within the 7000 acres, over rustic bridges and up ladders which make it feel like an adventure. Guests were given long range walkie talkies so assistance could be called at any time.

We had the pleasure of staying in this delightful bungalow in Belize, and it was an absolute dream. Beautifully designed and tastefully furnished. The owner welcomed us to her little slice of paradise and truly left no detail overlooked. Although the location is slightly removed from the city center, the owner provided helpful details and recommendations for reliable taxi services and food delivery options, making it easy for guests without a car to enjoy their stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this charming retreat to anyone visiting Belize.

The lodge is in the middle of the jungle. You wake up with the howler monkeys, you can have breakfast with the hummingbirds, you can go tubing on the river, visit the farm, make an excursion, and have a night walk to see all the creepy creatures of the jungle. For an ecolodge, the rooms are equipped very well. You get towels for muddy shoes, you have umbrellas, you have a lot of fans, you have good Wifi, you get a flashlight and even a mobile phone.
Huts have mosquito nets, but outside insect repellent might occasionally be necessary (not always and not everywhere though).
With garden views, Lower Dover Jungle Lodge & Maya Ruins is set in Unitedville and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, snack bar, garden, terrace and barbecue.

everything about my stay was amazing. the accommodation was nice and clean, the meals were great, and the staff even better. Maddy is super knowledgeable both about the premises, which have tons of history and are an excavation site in itself, and just generally.

The charming host Marcela and her lovely staff work very hard to ensure guests have a good time helping with travel arrangements, preparing meals and keeping this paradise as beautiful as it is. Don't hesitate to book!
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Nice staff, nice cabin, location a bit too far from town. You need to take a taxi. Fine swimmingpool, my son unfortunately broke a tooth by playing in the pool. Nice garden, we could do some birdwatching.
Beautiful hotel with so amazing cottages. Extremely clean and well built cabins, also very private. Beautiful and cozy landscaping all over with nice light and wildlife sounds. So cool outdoor showers in the cabins. Big beautiful pool and cozy sitting area. Very kind and personal service.
Fantastic hostel breakfast (eggs, bread, oats, granola, cereal, orange juice, fresh fruit). Staff were very friendly and helped with booking ATM caves and shuttle bus. I thought I had booked an AC room but obviously didn’t. The girls put it on for me anyway when I asked.
It was in a nice location, very scenic and the huts we stayed in were nice with a great view. The staff were very helpful when discussing options for travel and excursions.
Lovely traditional cabin by a lake in a farm. Well equipped and comfortable, but very quiet- it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but you’ve got electricity, aircon and good WiFi if you need it . Lots of wildlife- birds, squirrels and , yes , crocodiles (who are no threat); plus- mountain nature trail on site .
The cabins were rustic with comfy beds. Extreemly hot water for showers. The view was amazing from our screened in porch. The restaurant served great food. Unfortunately we had cloudy weather so the pool was cool.
