We couldn't have hoped for a better stay. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet spot outside of the city but that's still close to Galway and easy access to so much of the beautiful Irish countryside.

Located 23 km from National University of Galway, 23 km from Eyre Square and 23 km from Galway Railway Station, Wild Atlantic Stay Cottage offers accommodation situated in Galway. Wow - what a great place to stay for three nights just outside of Galway! The owner, Jacqueline, could not have been anymore accommodating. She was so nice and even provided us w/ an extra gift for my 50th birthday. We arrived to a beautiful Irish oasis with a wonderful view and a welcome basket. Our family enjoyed the short walk to the sea and the amazing seascapes. I can’t say enough about this cottage, it’s charm and the owner’s hospitality. If you are looking for a traditional Ireland experience then this is the place for you!

The house is just perfect. It is in the country, surrounded by sheep and chickens and still very near the centre of town. Caroline is a very good host that wants you to have the best stay! I recommend to book this lovely cottage.

The kitchen is fully equipped, so if you would like to cook a meal, it is definitely possible. However, the pub, Joe Watty’s is just at the end of the lane if you prefer to go for a pint or a meal. I loved that this facility had a washer/dryer so I was able to get some washing done. Very helpful and thoughtful. I also loved the full kitchen, even though we didn’t get a chance to cook, because I was able to wash and sanitize our water bottles. The host had prepared a binder filled with helpful tips about the property as well as several pages of information of what to do/see on the island.

Fabulous little cottage in a perfect location for checking out the sights on the Wild Atlantic Way! The cottage was spotless and very comfortable for our 2 night stay. The welcoming treats left by Ursula on arrival were a lovely touch and my youngest son had great fun with the toys provided! I'd highly recommend this little gem of a cottage!
