What we liked: The host (Dutch) was very friendly and welcoming. He picked us up from the train station, we had some interesting talks, he gave us very good tips and tricks for our journey further in Bali. As such, we came in contact with Ronnie (+62 812-3911-297) whom guided us in most of our travels in Bali. Back to the hotel; it is a small 'center parcs' with 1 main house and two smaller houses. The smaller houses host both two rooms for guests. The pool was great. The room was great! Everything was nicely decorated. It was like a small relaxing paradise.

Surely my primary choice to stay in banyuwangi if i travel in group.

Situated in Batu, near Angkut Museum and Jatim Park 1, Villa Terrace Batu Malang Kav 4 is a recently renovated property, featuring, a garden and shared lounge. What a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Bu Ninik and her son went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their photos are true to what we expected. The house is clean and neat, the bedrooms and bathrooms are well equipped. We got complimentary extra pillows and blankets. There are ACs in the bedroom above, but the weather is cool and lovely anyway ... The kitchen is tiny but very well stocked. There are some cooking ingredients plus oils and spices, drinks, and extra gallon of drinking water to enjoy. There's also a washing machine but didn't try it. But the soaps and all are available. The seating areas are cozy, the balconies are also nice. The outside area is also good to seat down, and the kids can run around outside without fearing for their safety. The bakso vendor nearby also sells good bakso 🙂 We are a big family and we'd probably will come back if we ever visit Batu again.

This was absolutely the best accommodation we’ve had in our trip across Java. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We arrived late without dinner and they brought us a snack and a delicious welcome drink. We felt right at home instantly. The location is absolute perfection with a beautiful farm where all of the produce for your breakfast comes from. The house itself is impeccably decorated in a traditional-meets-modern style (for Indonesia) and the sounds of frogs and insects will lull you to sleep. Consider spending 2 full days here, it’s more than a stop over to visit Ijen Mountain. The walks through the rice fields and villages are among the best we’ve experienced. 12/10 would recommend.

Situated in Betek, 1.7 km from Malang Library and 1.8 km from Brawijaya Museum, Urbanisia offers a garden and air conditioning. Very clean and easy to book and check in. Nice neighborhood, a batso and bread cart came around which was convenient. Rooms are good size and we found the value outstanding.

Featuring a balcony with garden views, a garden and a shared lounge, The Pines Smart Homes can be found in Batu, close to Angkut Museum and a 14-minute walk from Jatim Park 1. The villa is very clean, the facilities are superb, the bed is very comfortable and the location is perfect. We even walk to Museum Angkut, which is great. The villa is the cleanest compare to other villa around. We wish we could stay longer so we could explore more Batu city. We dont want to leave the villa 😅.

Boasting garden views, Kallista Homestay features accommodation with a garden, around 16 km from Watu Dodol. Big room for families in the centre of the city. It was a good choice to transit 1 night for resting after our trip in Bali.
