Check in and communication with the hotel was easy. The room was nice. Breakfast and pool/sauna were very nice.

Harper is my favourite hotel in Makassar. If not needed, I avoid staying downtown (heavy traffic). Harper is only approx. 15 min from the airport. The hotel is cozy, the rooms are great, the bed is very comfy, breakfast offers many options.

The location is good, very central and close to a lot of well-known local restaurants. The bed is comfortable with black out curtain. The swimming pool is not that big but sufficient for lap swimming. They separate the sauna for male and female, unfortunately the female sauna was not that warm so I moved to the male sauna when it was empty.
