I do not agree with your critic about AGD. If programs are rogued here, it's always because of an objective reason. That doesn't mean that other programs cannot become rogue or act bad against some affiliates.
In the end, it's about money. Just like a webmaster making $ 1.000 / month is not going to rogue a program that is good for $ 500 a month, bigger websites seem to not rogue their most important partners.
It's not just the revenue, but it has also impact on the price when the website will be sold. $ 50.000 less a month, means also some millions less if you sell the website. And take notion that bigger website make way more than $ 50.000 a month with their most important partners. And if the website is already sold to "super affiliates" they're having usually shareholders that do not accept less profit just because some smaller webmasters were screwed by a certain affiliate program.
This is not an opinion, but just the way how I see things going.
