About our members

Many Australian financial services licensees, Australian credit licensees, authorised credit representatives and superannuation trustees are required to be a member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) under their licence conditions. Other firms have joined AFCA voluntarily as part of a commitment to accountability in their dispute resolution.

Our members include banks, insurers, credit providers, financial advisers, debt collection agencies, superannuation trustees and many more. We have over 35,000 members across the country, most will never have a complaint lodged against them. For those that do, we offer fair, independent and effective solutions for financial disputes facilitated by professional and experienced staff.
