National Highway-10 (NH-10) starts from Banglabandha (near Phulbari) of Indo-Bangladesh border and passes through Siliguri City in West Bengal and enters the hilly terrain of Himalaya near Sevoke and runs almost parallelly to river Teesta for a considerable length connecting the capital of Sikkim, Gangtok after entering in the state of Sikkim from West Bengal in a place called Rangpo. At present. NH-10 is the one and only NH connectivity to the state of Sikkim and also to the Divisional town of Kalimpong of the newly formed Kalimpong district in West Bengal and strategically a very important road as it connects to the China border. From Sevoke to Rangpo, NH-10 is 52 Km long National Highway in the state of West Bengal which is unique in many aspects, though apparently similar to other hill roads. The fragile young mountain on one side, the meandering river Teesta with the high-velocity flow on the other side with very close proximity to the river in around 70% of the length in West Bengal portion, NH 10 is very challenging to maintain being prone to frequent landslide, rock fall, road bench subsidence and valley side scouring. Many anthropogenic activities in this complex geological region made its maintenance very tough & the scope of widening of the road limited. In this paper, the authors try to figure out the complexities of the road and the challenges faced to maintain and widen the road. The recent incident of the Glacial Lake Outburst Flood in Sikkim (October 2023) and its devastating effects on NH-10 have also been discussed.

Classical Eastern literature and its branch, Azerbaijani divan literature, is a literature rich in sufi motifs. When our classical poets wrote about love, they used "canan", "yar", "dilbar", "sanam", etc. when they say, they did not describe the real beauties they saw in life, but mainly God, sometimes prophets, imams and other saints. In Azerbaijani literature, prominent poets such as Nasimi, Haqiqi, Kishvari, Gulshani, Khatai, Fuzuli, and Nabati are the most famous representatives of Sufism literature. However, despite this, our classical poets did not always describe the divine love, but expressed their attitude to real life in their works. Although these motifs are used less than the motif of Sufi love, they occupy a special place in classical literature. The real motives in Divan literature are multifaceted. Sometimes the poets bring the people's everyday life and daily life into poetry, sometimes they complain about the world's unfaithfulness, the apostasy of fate, and sometimes they praise the real beauties they see in life and express their love for them. It is true that these topics are also written mostly with Sufism motifs. But in the poems written on those topics, the share of reality is superior. A less frequently used theme in poems based on real motives is the theme of real, beautiful and worldly love. The development of the mentioned topic in Azerbaijani literature is related to the spread of love poetry and examples of written literature created under the influence of this poetry. In our literature, it is possible to observe the description of real beautiful and worldly love in the works of Molla Panah Vagif, Gasim bey Zakir, Khasta Gasim, Ashiq Alasgar and other poets and lovers. However, even before these artists, the motif we are talking about can be seen in classical literature, in the style of divan poetry. In the works of Ruhi Baghdadi, one of the prominent poets of the 16th century, as in other classics, we mostly witness Sufi motifs and glorification of divine love, but in some cases, he described the worldly beauty. In this respect, there are certain points in the poet's divan that resonate with the creativity of Fazli Baghdadi, Molla Panah Vagif, and Khasta Gasim. In this article, we examined those points in a comparative way and identified common features. Key words: Ruhi Baghdadi, Fazli Baghdadi, Molla Panah Vagif, Khasta Gasim, worldly love, real beauty
For the last few decades, French post-structuralist critical thinking has provided one of the most important areas of impetus for the development of new ways of considering psychology. The philosophy of figures such as Michel Foucault and Roland Barthes has provided a dramatic reconceptualization of the human subject. The deconstructive philosophy of Jacques Derrida has been central to this post-structuralist revolution, but it has yet to be comprehensively integrated into the discipline of psychology. We argue that, insofar as it can be understood as a form of philosophical psychology, Derrida’s thought has profound implications for the discipline on three interconnected levels: as a way of theoretically conceptualizing the subject of psychology, by placing the regional science of psychology under a broader ontological scope; as a way of considering the pivotal role that a theory of language plays in the conceptualization of the subject; and as a way of interpreting the texts that form the tradition of the discipline itself.
