This paper experimentally investigates the mechanism of water droplet detachment in a confined microchannel under highly inertial (10 < Re < 200) air flow conditions. Experimental observations show that as the Reynolds number of the continuous phase is increased, the droplet transitions from an elongated slug to a nearly uniform aspect ratio droplet. Supporting scaling arguments are then made that examine the relevant forces induced by the continuous phase on the droplet at the point of detachment. The inertial, viscous, and hydrodynamic pressure forces that result as the air flow is confined in the small gap between droplet and channel walls are compared to the surface tension force pinning the droplet at the injection site. The results indicate that the dominant detachment mechanism transitions from the hydrostatic pressure difference to inertial drag as the continuous phase velocity is increased.
From Late Antiquity/Early Byzantium to the verge of the First Crusade, the territory of Praevalitana, later Doclea (Duklja) and Zeta, represented a cultural landscape of interaction between East and West, the Latin and the Orthodox Church. The development of ecclesiastical structures and the peculiarities of the denominational interplay in this geopolitical area remain, however, still a little-explored issue. This paper analyses this specific cultural and religious interconnection by implementing the following aspects and methods: new interpretational approaches to the toponomastic evidence and written sources, especially papal letters, digital processing of database-embedded data and its analysis, including the designing and application of distribution maps, and artistic interpretation of on-site monuments. The examination of cultural and geographical features of medieval Duklja, i.e. churches, monasteries, roads, in combination with the output from the source study, enable us to shape a new perception of what is regarded here as a “Sacred Landscape”
Business ethics always have incredible importance in business world. Transparency and moral etiquette are becoming very essential components for the organizations to sustain and grow. Not giving due consideration for the ethics in commercial activities has put many governmental and non-governmental organizations at stake. Through a strategically incorporated ethical policy, the management can also send a clear communication about the priorities of the organization to its stake holders. The concept of ethical dilemmas of managers is very much influenced by the rapidly changing business dynamics along serving the organizations objectives and needs. Managers play a key role in contributing to the ethicality of the organization. An ethical dilemma is a common and intricate mental situation often involving an evident mental conflict between moral imperatives, in which to obey one would result in contravening another. It is imperative in this context to find out the factors that influence the managers attitude towards the ethicality at workplace and also to understand grey areas where the managers find themselves in ethical dilemmas at workplace. Noteworthy business ethics cases are analyzed to emphasize the study. For carrying out the present study, select organizations in Chittoor district of Rayalaseema are considered and managerial personnel from all the select organizations are included. This study contribute standard and innovative solutions for the managers ethical dilemmas at workplace because developing innovative management strategies with due concern for ethics is indispensable

The author collected in her paper introductory remarks concerning the occurrences of water in the Pyramid Texts. The article outlines main issues which appear to be assumed by the ancient Egyptians the most vivid while thinking about water and its role in Egyptian religion of the Old Kingdom. In the world oldest religious texts it may be evenly observed that water was a way to travel both on Earth and in the sky as well as to transport goods in both realities. The above-mentioned and the ways of transport confirm watery nature of the hereafter. Water could have both good as well as bad, involving peril, connotations. Furthermore, it appears – that water was perceived as a sacralised sphere, the one of primordial value. However, in the Pyramid Texts more emphasis was put on its purifying and rejuvenating qualities.
