Synergetics

Das vorliegende Buch gehört in die Kategorie derjenigen Werke, die sich einer Besprechung im Grunde genommen entziehen, zumindest unter der Prämisse, dass die Besprechung ihnen gerecht werden sollte. Es ist vom Ansatz, vom Inhalt und von der Durchführung her phänomenal. Worum geht es? Um den gründlichen und grundlegenden Versuch einer Annäherung an Beschreibung und Verständnis dessen, „was die
Welt zusammenhält“. Als Rüstzeug für dieses Unternehmen gilt die Synergetik, seinerzeit definiert als die Lehre vom Zusammenwirken, jetzt als „die Wissenschaft der Selbstorganisation“. Hermann Haken und Günter Schiepek haben sich zusammengetan, um
mit ihrem eigenen Zusammenwirken das mittlerweile weite Feld zu kartografieren, in seinen weiter reichenden Möglichkeiten zu erkunden und seine Dynamik herauszuarbeiten. Hermann Haken, weltberühmt für seine Lasertheorie und für seine Entwicklung der Synergetik als Disziplin übergreifende Metatheorie, ist als Doyen und Spiritus rector der Anwendung synergetischer Erkenntnisse auf die Erforschung des biologisch und sozial Lebendigen von außerordentlicher Bedeutung. Dies sowohl für die Fachöffentlichkeit als auch außerhalb. Innerhalb des Feldes setzt die von Hermann Haken als Chefherausgeber betreute „Springer Series in Synergetics“ seit 1978 Maßstäbe. Seine
„Erfolgsgeheimnisse der Natur“ (1981) sorgten für Bekanntheit und Interesse auch außerhalb der Fachöffentlichkeit. Günter Schiepek gehört unter den systemtheoretisch orientierten Kollegen unserer Profession zu denjenigen mit dem weitesten Horizont, dem umfangreichsten naturwissenschaftlich-mathematischen Verständnis und ist
wohl derjenige mit der größten Zähigkeit, allen Hindernissen zum Trotz ein Programm voranzutreiben. Seit den 1980er Jahren steht er für den Versuch, die Anbindung von professionellem systemischen Handeln an die Standards der Naturwissenschaften zu intensivieren sowie deren methodisches Rüstzeug für das planmäßige Erforschen
komplexen Geschehens zu nutzen.

Borodkin, Leonid. CHALLENGES OF INSTABILITY: THE CONCEPTS OF SYNERGETICS  IN STUDYING THE HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT OF RUSSIA The article discusses the big challenges of Russia’s historical development associated with the unstable nature of the social and political processes of the 20th century, the unpredictability of radical changes that capture different countries, and the alternatives of their development. An adequate approach to studying such processes, analyzing mechanisms of their functioning became possible on the basis of the multidisciplinary concept of synergetics related to the doctrine of self-organization, the methods of nonlinear dynamics and chaos theory. An important issue this paper addresses is relationship between regularity and randomness in the development of an unstable social process, in particular, the role of the individual in this process. This issue acquires special significance in researching transition epochs and radical transformations of society, which require an adequate response to the big challenges posed by the risk of a system falling into the trajectory of turbulent development. Connected with this question are new approaches to exploring alternatives of social development that arise at the points of bifurcation, considered in the article on the example of the development of the revolutionary situation in 1917 Russia. It is shown that the challenges of instability which impede sustainable development that have emerged at different periods of Russia’s history and that are possible in its foreseeable future can be analyzed and modeled using synergetic concepts. The methodological tools of historical research are expanding and include now methods of studying unstable historical processes, dynamics of revolutionary changes and protest movements.

В статье рассмотрены большие вызовы исторического развития России, связанные с неустойчивым характером социально-политических процессов ХХ в., непредсказуемость радикальных перемен, захватывающих различные страны, альтернативность их развития. Адекватный подход к изучению таких процессов, к анализу механизмов их функционирования стал возможен на основе мультидисциплинарной концепции синергетики, связанной с учением о самоорганизации, с методами нелинейной динамики и теории хаоса. Обсуждается в работе и соотношение закономерности и случайности в развитии неустойчивого процесса, в частности роль личности в этом процессе. Этот вопрос приобретает особое значение при изучении переходных эпох, радикальных трансформаций общества, требующих адекватного ответа на большие вызовы, порождаемые риском схода системы на траекторию турбулентного развития. С этим вопросом связаны и новые подходы к изучению альтернатив общественного развития, возникающих в точках бифуркации, рассмотренные в статье на примере развития революционной ситуации в России 1917 г. Показано, что вызовы нестабильности, препятствующие устойчивому развитию, возникавшие в разные периоды истории России и возможные в ее обозримом будущем, могут подвергаться анализу и моделироваться с помощью концепций синергетики. Методологический инструментарий исторической науки расширяется, включая теперь методы изучения неустойчивых исторических процессов, динамики революционных изменений и протестных движений.

Рассматриваются особенности трансдисциплинарности, ее отличие от междисциплинарности и полидис-
циплинарности. В качестве бурно развивающихся областей современных трансдисциплинарных исследований
рассматриваются теория сложности (синергетика), исследования будущего (futures studies) и когнитивная нау-
ка. Показано, что именно трансдисциплинарные исследования, по-видимому, определят облик науки в сред-
несрочном будущем.

The concept of self-organised criticality (SOC), put forward by physicists Bak, Tan and Wiesenfeld in 1987, has been applied to many phenomena in natural and human sciences, including human history. We consider the free will in human interactions as a source of energy necessary for a SOC system, which can have important implications for theories of history and for practical attempts at regulating a society on a global scale. Interrogations about the self are as ancient as humankind and the "who am I?" question seems to have travelled across historical times only to be posed more acutely than ever in our postmodern age. This essay will start by reviewing definitions of the self as well as the main problems psychologists are confronted with when theorizing the self. I will argue, in supporting the vision of the self as being a social structure, that both tendencies to "individualize" and "discursify" fail to acknowledge the intersubjective nature of the self and its genesis within me - other relations. This particular approach will be further developed by connecting the self to the social context of representations, attributions and culture. In the end, the notion of "synergetic self" will be introduced and developed with an emphasis on its dynamic, transformative, emergent and creative dimensions. I will explain how this new standpoint manages to overcome old dichotomies in the psychology of selfhood and to offer a truly social and contextual account of the self.

The manual examines current issues underlying the system Publisher and journalist training course "Theory of mass communication." The optimization of resources in nature has stimulated the creation of strategies to facilitate the interchange of energy, matter and information. Observation of these natural phenomena allowed Fuller to develop the concept of Tensegrity Systems in the 50's, generating a growing integration of multidisciplinary views on this subject. In this paper Tensegrity is postulated, given its peculiar synergistic qualities, as a paradigmatic and emergent concept in the projectual disciplines, both as a type of system displaying reciprocal interactions between a given number of nodes, and as a structural system with potential applications in multiple, evolving, scientific-technological fields.

В данной работе делается попытка показать, с помощью методов математического моделирования, при каких условиях процессы самоорганизации в рабочей среде могут приводить к взрывному характеру конфликтов, к нелинейным эффектам в их развитии в силу действия внутренних факторов. Первый раздел статьи включает краткое рассмотрение роли внешних и внутренних факторов в развитии волн стачечной динамики. Во  втором разделе предлагается нелинейная модель стачечной динамики, проводится ее анализ; в частности, выявляются условия, в которых эта динамика может иметь неустойчивый, хаотический характер, когда малые (возможно, случайные) воздействия приводят к резким изменениям стачечной активности. Именно такие процессы изучает синергетика.
      In this paper an attempt is made to show by means of mathematical modeling, the conditions under which self-organization processes in the working environment can lead to explosive nature of the conflict, to nonlinear effects in their development by virtue of endogeneous and exogeneous factors. The first section of the article includes a brief review of the role of external and internal factors in the development of the strike wave dynamics. The second section provides a non-linear model of the strike dynamics and its analysis; in particular, identifies the conditions under which these dynamics can be unstable or chaotic, when small (possibly random) effects lead to rapid changes in strike activity. It is these processes synergetics studies.

Синергетику часто называют наукой о сложном, учением о самоорганизации, об универсальных закономерностях эволюции сложных динамических систем, претерпевающих резкие изменения состояний в периоды нестабильности. Центральный вопрос, который обсуждается историками в этой связи – влияние случайностей, которые принципиально невозможно предугадать и прогнозировать, на общий характер развития изучаемого процесса. С этим вопросом связаны и новые подходы к изучению альтернатив общественного развития, возникающих в точках бифуркации.
Методология синергетики может дать ключ к пониманию резких изменений в динамике процесса, которые могут происходить и без сколько-нибудь заметных внешних причин, в силу нелинейного его характера.
Цель данной работы -¬ обсуждение методологических проблем применения концепций синергетики в исторических исследованиях.

В современных условиях, когда на нас лавинообразно обрушиваются потоки информации и появляются все более сложные трансдисциплинарные комплексы знаний, встает насущная задача ориентации личности, поддержания ее собственной идентичности, постоянного создания себя. Обучающийся - это не пустой контейнер, который государственно легитимный авторитет наполняет фактами и данными, а активный конструктор себя и своего окружения. Обучение есть процедура пробуждения внутренних сил и возможностей ученика, кооперативной совместной творческой деятельности учителя и ученика, в результате которой изменяются они оба.

The textbook outlines the basics of synergetics, a field of scienes that
study the general patterns of processes in complex nonequilibrium systems, in application to living nature. Living organisms are considered as deterministic-chaotic, emergent, self-organizing structures, evolving in the conditions of constant opposition to the second law of thermodynamics. The processes of self-organization at all levels of the organization of biosystems, from macromolecular to biocenotic, are described. Attention is paid to the theory of bifurcations and catastrophes, to the models of self-organization processes
and fractal geometry. The textbook is intended for university students.

В монографии обоснованы и раскрыты основные позиции и возможности применения методологии рассмотрения психики человека, психомерных сред/систем (в которых психика человека становится системообразующим, переходоформирующим фактором), стратегий человеческой деятельности в целом с позиций психосинергетики.
Работа адресована философам и методологам науки, ученым и аспирантам, медикам и психологам, политикам и педагогам, студентам, т. е. всем, кто хочет получить адекватное, происходящим в науке, мировоззрении, обществе глобальным изменениям, знание и понимание себя (себя в себе), мира (мира в мире), себя в мире и мира в себе.

Изложенная в учебном пособии авторская психосинергетическая концепция психики человека представляет психику как гиперсистему синергетического порядка, имеющую фазовую структуру психического пространства и времени, принадлежащую к подклассу открытых нелинейных самоорганизующих сред. Особое внимание уделяется крайне неравновесному состоянию среды, поскольку именно в этом состоянии психика (среда) проявляется принципиально иначе.

Подобная постановка вопроса наиболее актуальна для современного общества.

The idea that in the near future we should expect “the Singularity” has become quite popular recently, primarily thanks to the activities of Google technical director in the field of machine training Raymond Kurzweil and his book The Singularity Is Near (2005). It is shown that the mathematical analysis of the series of events (described by Kurzweil in his famous book), which starts with the emergence of our Galaxy and ends with the decoding of the DNA code, is indeed ideally described by an extremely simple mathematical function (not known to Kurzweil himself) with a singularity in the region of 2029. It is also shown that, a similar time series (beginning with the onset of life on Earth and ending with the information revolution – composed by the Russian physicist Alexander Panov completely independently of Kurzweil) is also practically perfectly described by a mathematical function (very similar to the above and not used by Panov) with a singularity in the region of 2027. It is shown that this function is also extremely similar to the equation discovered in 1960 by Heinz von Foerster and published in his famous article in the journal “Science” – this function almost perfectly describes the dynamics of the world population and is characterized by a mathematical singularity in the region of 2027. All this indicates the existence of sufficiently rigorous global macroevolutionary regularities (describing the evolution of complexity on our planet for a few billion of years), which can be surprisingly accurately described by extremely simple mathematical functions. At the same time it is demonstrated that in the region of the singularity point there is no reason, after Kurzweil, to expect an unprecedented (many orders of magnitude) acceleration of the rates of technological development. There are more grounds for interpreting this point as an indication of an inflection point, after which the pace of global evolution will begin to slow down systematically in the long term.

В данной статье дана характеристика новых работ по методологическим и философским проблемам синергетики (включая современные подходы к емкому понятию «информация»), отражена суть критицизма приложений концепций синергетики в исторических исследованиях в дискуссиях последних лет.

Organisationen und die in ihnen handelnden Menschen sehen sich zunehmend vernetzten, dynamischen und komplexen In- und Umwelten gegenüber. Mechanistische, mono-kausale Weltbilder, Führungs- und Organisationsprizipien führen mitunter zu inadequaten Anworten auf diese Herausforderungen. Hingegen jüngere Systemtheorien, insbesondere die Theorien Nichtlinearer Dynamischer Systeme sind in der Lage Chaos empirisch nachzuweisen und wollen Begriffswelten sowie Wirkungszusammenhänge für einen kompetenteren Umgang mit Komplexität bereitstellen.
Vor diesem Hintergrund thematisiert die Arbeit das Konstrukt der individuellen und emergenten Systemkompetenz und diskutiert aktuelle Ansätze agiler Organisation. Das Konstrukt der individuellen Systemkompetenz wird in seinen Entwicklungsschritten systematisch dargelegt und kritisch gewürdigt. Agile Konzepte werden historisch, begrifflich und inhaltlich eingeordnet und anhand eines handlungsorientierten Ansatzes der ‚Flexibilität der Organisation‘ als emergente Systemkompetenz interpretiert. So beschreibt die Arbeit den derzeitigen Entwicklungsstand des Konstruktes der Systemkompetenz und zeigt mögliche Per-spektiven einer Weiterentwicklung auf.
Eine explorative Feldstudie mit 232 Teilnehmenden aus 36 klein- und mittelständischen Organisationen untersucht systemkompetentes personenbezogenes Verhalten sowie organisationsbezogenes flexibles Verhalten. Die Resultate der Gesamtstichprobe werden mit Skalen der individuellen Systemkompetenz (Autonomie, Problemlösung und Planung) sowie Skalen der emergenten Sy-stemkompetenz in Form interner struktureller Flexibilität (Job Enlargement, unmittelbare Qualitätskontrolle, multifunktionale Teams, Job Rotation) und der externen strukturellen Flexibilität (Job Enrichment, Kooperation, Co-Design) deskriptiv-statistisch aufbereitet und diskutiert. Die empirischen Befunde geben erste Hinweise, wie individuelle und emergente Systekompetenz quantitativ erfasst und hinsichtlich agiler Organisationsprizipien interpretiert werden kann.

Was könnte es bedeuten, Teams synergetisch zu entwickeln? Die Arbeit will zeigen, dass eine zentrale Aufgabe für Teams heute darin besteht, schnell zusammen zu wachsen und Aufgaben effektiv zu erledigen. Da dieses „Zusammenwachsen“ und „effektiv erledigen“ systematisch durch geeignete Konzepte und Interventionen der Teamentwicklung begleitet werden kann, wurden sechs unter-scheidbare Ansätze der Teamentwicklung betrachtet. Im GRPI-Modell wird ein integrativer Ansatz vermutet, der einen kompakten Gestaltungsrahmen schaffen kann. Die zentralen Schwächen des Ansatzes werden ebenso dargestellt, wie mögliche koompensatorische Ansätze. Einer könnte in der Systemtheorie der Synergetik liegen, die in den Gründzügen eingeführt wird. Um Bedingungen für Selbstorganisation herzustellen, ist die Berücksichtigung acht generischer Prinzipien angezeigt. Ursprünglich im Kontext der Psychotherapieforschung entstanden verstehen sie ihren prinzipiellen Charakter in der Übertragbarkeit für alle bio-psycho-sozialen Systeme.

In einem zweiten Teil der Arbeit soll gezeigt werden, wie eine Teamentwicklung unter Berücksichtigung des GRPI-Modells und des synergetischen Gestaltungselements der Interaktionsmatrix gelingen kann. Die Projektschritte von der Ideenfindung bis zum aktuellen Sta-tus des Projektes bei Berichtserstellung dokumentieren eine Reihe von Erfahrungen und „Lessons Learned“ für die praktische Weiterentwicklung einer synergetischen Teamentwicklung.

Князевой, представляет собой собрание оригинальных текстов, которые дают картину междисциплинарного научного направления — синергетики как науки о сложных самоорганизующихся системах - и ее философско-методологических основаниях. В книгу включены некоторые ключевые работы основателей этого направления — Нобелевского лауреата И. Пригожина и Г. Хакена, видных немецких ученых В. Эбелинга и К. Майнцера, французского
философа и социолога Э. Морена, французского философа Ж. Петито. Последняя глава посвящена описанию выдающегося вклада в понимание природы и динамики биологических и когнитивных систем, внесенного чилийским
ученым Ф. Варелой. Во включенных в антологию статьях обсуждается широкий круг проблем, начиная с закономерностей эволюции природных систем
до способов самоорганизации общественной жизни, принципов насущной реформы образования, инновационной динамики в экономике.

В психосинергетике речь идет о понятии «психомерная среда» (ПС) на нескольких уровнях ее понимания. Прежде всего, это внутри- психическая среда, которую порождает внутри себя сам человек (его личность и организм, допускаются другие внутрисредовые виды и механизмы «памяти»). Также это внешнепсихическая среда как продукт отношений человека с другими внутри- и внешнепсихическими средами как отдельных людей, так и групп, коллективов, произведений искусства и т. д., а кроме того, отношений человека с социумом, природой, космосом и знаниями. Наряду с этим выделен уровень продукта внутри- и межсредовых отношений, получивший название «неучтенный продукт», который в активном состоянии может становиться «неучтенным субъектом». К его активизации приводят определенные условия, в т. ч., например, концентрация, дефекты, диффузия, скорость, а также присутствие ценностного спектра в восприятии личностью субъекта-человека. Так, например, цветок может своим запахом повлиять на настроение человека, нарушит его эмоциональное состояние, что, в свою очередь, повлияет на его поступки и под.

ABSTRACT The modern theory of the self-organization of complex systems, or synergetics, is considered in the context of historical traditions of natural philosophy. It is substantiated that it is unfairly to treat synergetics as a modern “speculative physics”, ie the natural philosophy of a new type. However, there is no doubt that on the basis of synergetics a certain worldview is built, and this worldview oversteps the boundaries of basic scientific disciplines and reaches a meta-scientific level of research.

Most of multi-use species are declining in the wide habitat in spite of the variety of the conservation recommendations formulated by researchers. This may be due to the fact that a large part of researches focused on their socio-economic importance than the conservation of those species. Pentadesma butyracea is a multi-uses tree species that occurs from Sierra Leone to Gabon in dense Guineo-Congo rainforest and in gallery forests in the Dahomey-Gap of the dry corridor. This work used 56 studies to synthetize the importance of Pentadesma butyracea, enumerate the main threats to species persistence and test if probability of suggesting conservation strategies varied according to main fields of research, the conservation focus and the statement of conservation aim in the study. Our synthesis showed that although 68.75% asked conservation questions, only 43.75% suggested strategies for conservation of Pentadesma butyracea species and/or its habitat, gallery forests. We found 11 combinations of disturbances and 3 isolated disturbances which can simultaneously occur in the wild. We recommended for Pentadesma butyracea and it habitat effective conservation to limit gallery forest width reduction and fragmentation, to enforce the law regarding the minimum distance between farmer field and the gallery forest. Studies on multi-uses trees species must explicitly involve the viability of remnant populations and set the threshold viable habitat size. We also recommend to disentangle drivers of Pentadesma butyracea populations decline using update and accurate mathematical and statistical tools.

Запропоновано концепцію ментально-духовно-емоційного середовища (ІМДЕС). ІМДЕС класифікована як відкрите нелінійне середовище, що самоорганізується. Агресивними факторами ІМДЕС виступають інформаційні потоки (ІП) різного характеру і форм, що робить і поглинає сама людина (група, соціум). Психічна напруженість людини зростає в результаті когерентної взаємодії ІП (нелінійний позитивний зворотний зв'язок) на декількох рівнях.

Im Management ergeben sich Entscheidungen in der Regel als eine Folge aus einer Vielzahl vorher getroffener Entscheidungen, die selbst miteinander vernetzt sind. Eine modellmäßige Erfassung dieser Zeitabläufe ist kaum möglich, da Strukturen und Parameter entsprechender Modelle, im Gegensatz zu den Bedingungen in der Physik, nicht zugänglich sind. Dennoch sind prinzipielle Modellstudien nützlich, da Ablauf- und Ergebnisstrukturen in logischen Netzwerken hinsichtlich ihres universellen Charakters zeigen, welche Wahrnehmungsmuster uns bei der Beobachtung und Beurteilung derartiger Systeme hilfreich sind.

Die Entstehung von Meinungsgruppen vor wichtigen Entscheidungen ist ein bekanntes, dynamisches Phänomen in sozialen Systemen. Besonders in sehr großen Systemen erkennt man häufig, daß in der finalen Phase dieses Prozesses sich zwei Lager bilden, die in einer wichtigen Entscheidungsfrage zu konträren Ergebnissen kommen.

In order to develop further the methods of scenario building and to facilitate the paths towards a desirable and sustainable future, we cannot do without a nonlinear evolutionary thinking. The theory of self-organization of complex systems, called also synergetics, is a scientific basis for such a thinking, the main principles of which are under consideration in the paper. Synergetics provides us with the knowledge of constructive principles of coevolution of complex social systems, coevolution of countries and geopolitical regions being at different stages of development, integration of the East and the West, the North and the South. Synergetics is a new interdisciplinary movement in modern science signifying a process of becoming of a new outlook of a human on the world as well as on himself in the world. Synergetics is a new dialogue of a human with nature, a new synthesis of human knowledge and wisdom. The new theory develops a new approach to cognition of evolutionary crises, instabilities and chaos and to mastering the methods of nonlinear management of complex systems being in the states of instability. This theory leads to the understanding of some principal limits of predictability in ecology, sociology, economics, geopolicy. Being a modern post-Darwinian paradigm of evolution, the theory of complexity and self-organization is being now under rapid

Interview is taken in 1998. It concerns the views of the founder of synergetics Hermann Haken on the origins of this interdisciplinary field of knowledge, some philosophical foundations of its origin, current state and further development as well as some remarks about Hermann Haken as a scientist and a personality.

Enactivism as a radical conceptual shift in non-classical epistemology and in cognitive science is under consideration in the monograph. Consciousness is viewed as active and interactive, embodied and situated, its cognitive activity is carried out by in-building into a cognizing environment, i.e. by enacting a surrounding medium. Some prerequisites of emergence and development these notions are traced in studies of G. Berkeley, D. Hume, H. Bersson. The recent contributions of Francisco Varela, Evan Thompson, Alva Noë in the development of enactivism are considered as well. Enactivism is treated as a new form of constructivism in epistemology. In its conceptual frames,  the mind-body problem, the problem of subject and object of cognition, the problem of connection of cognition with action can be solved in a non-traditional way. The book is addressed to specialists in epistemology and in philosophy of science as well as to all who is interested in the modern trends of development of philosophy.
В монографии рассматривается энактивизм как радикальный концептуальный поворот в неклассической эпистемологии и когнитивной науке. Сознание
представляется как активное и интерактивное, отелесненное и ситуационное, его когнитивная активность совершается посредством вдействования в окружающую и познаваемую среду, т.е. энактивирования среды. Прослеживаются историко-философские предпосылки возникновения этих представлений в учениях Дж. Беркли, Д. Юма, И. Канта, А. Бергсона, а также современный вклад в развитие энактивизма Франсиско Варелы, Эвана Томпсона, Алва Ноэ и др. Энактивизм рассматривается как новая форма конструктивизма в эпистемологии, в концептуальных рамках которого получают нетрадиционные решения проблемы сознания и тела, субъекта и объекта познания, связи познания с действием.
Книга адресована специалистам по эпистемологии и философии науки, а также всем интересующимся современными трендами развития философии.

"This paper presents results from a series of experiments carried out to explore relationships between the Synergetic Geometry [Synergetics 1975] of Richard Buckminster-Fuller and electro-magnetic phenomena. The experiments utilized inductors made in the shape of the Platonic polyhedra. By varying the frequency of the alternating current input to these structures, their unique natural electrical vibratory or resonant frequencies were observed, measured, and put in order.  It was found:
1. The volume ratio between the tetrahedral and cubical inductors, when they resonated at the same parallel electrical frequencies, was within 30%, 12.7%, and 3% of the purely geometric 1:3 volume ratio that pertains when a tetrahedron fits exactly inside a cube. 
2. The resonant frequencies of inductors made in the shape of the Platonic polyhedra, and using the same amount of material in their construction, possessed a simple ascending order. The electromagnetic tetrahedron’s resonant frequency was the lowest. The icosahedron’s was the highest.
3. The power (V*I) at resonance of the three omni-triangulated structures of synergetic geometry (the icosahedron, octahedron, and tetrahedron) also possessed a simple order.  The icosahedron consumed the least power. The tetrahedron consumed the most power.

Die unterschiedlichen Theorien zu Selbstorganisation, Konstruktivismus, Synergetik, Au-topoiese - im folgenden benutzen wir den Ausdruck Selbstorganisation als übergeordnete Kennzeichnung - signalisieren einen umfassenden Paradigmenwechsel in den Wissenschaften - eine wissenschaftliche Revolution. Unsere Rekonstruktion des bisherigen Verlaufs wird offenlegen, daß "Revolutionen der Denkart" (Kant) in ihrem historisch-sozialen Verlauf selbst manche konstruktivistischen Züge eines selbstorganisierenden Prozesses haben und -wie Haken schon vorgeschlagen hat nach diesem Modell gedeutet werden können.

С позиций синергетического подхода предложено общее постнеклассическое решение проблемы исследования мозга, психики и сознания человека на основании методологии их исследования как синергетических объектов и методологии исследования «психомерных сред/систем. Введен концепт (макроструктура) «мозг-психика-ум/разум/сознание». Показано, что каждая из составляющих этого концепта исследована специалистами с позиций и в терминах синергетики и постнеклассики.

Ein System, das auf der Grenzlinie zwischen natürlichem System und von Menschenhand gemachtem Apparat liegt, ist der Laser. Wir behandeln den Laser, als Apparat, obwohl das Auftreten von Lasertätigkeit (im Mikrowellenbereich) auch im interstellaren Raum beobachtet wurde.

Kap. 1.2 Die erste Klasse der Beispiele bezog sich auf abgeschlossene Systeme. Daraus, sowie aus einer Vielzahl anderer Beispiele, schließt die Thermodynamik, dass die Entropie in abgeschlossenen Systemen niemals abnimmt. Dieses Theorem zu beweisen ist Aufgabe der statistischen Mechanik. Immerhin beleuchtet es das erste Grundproblem bei vielkomponentigen Systemen: Wie sieht eine adäquate Beschreibung in makroskopischen Begriffen aus oder, in welchen Moden wird das System arbeiten? Der Grund liegt in der Linearität der entsprechenden Bewegungsgleichungen, die dazu führt, dass irgendeine Superposition von Lösungen wieder eine Lösung dieser Gleichungen darstellt. Es wird sich herausstellen, dass die Gleichungen, die die Selbstorganisation regieren, nichtlinear sind.

Anstatt alle atomaren Koordinaten von sehr vielen Freiheitsgraden zu kennen, benötigen wir nur einen einzigen oder sehr wenige Parameter, z.B. die Amplitude einer Mode. Wie wir später sehen werden, bestimmen die Modenamplituden die Art und den Grad der Ordnung. Aufgrund dieser Tatsache werden wir sie als Ordnungsparameter bezeichnen und eine Verbindung zur Idee der Ordnungsparameter bei Phasenübergängen herstellen. Das Modenkonzept schließt eine Skalierungseigenschaft ein.

Raumzeitliche Muster können ähnlich sein, unterschiedlich bloß durch die Ausdehnung (Skala) der Amplitude. (Im Übrigen spielt dieses " Ähnlichkeitsprinzip " eine wichtige Rolle bei der Mustererkennung im Gehirn. Allerdings ist bisher kein Mechanismus bekannt, der dies erklären könnte. So wird beispielsweise ein Dreieck als solches erkannt, unabhängig von seiner Ausdehnung (Größe) und Lage).
Kap. 3 In diesem Kapitel wollen wir aufzeigen, wie wir durch eine gewisse Neuinterpretation der Wahrscheinlichkeit in eine scheinbar völlig verschiedene Disziplin, die Informationstheorie nämlich, Einblick gewinnen können.

Kap. 3.5 Da wir Prozesse untersuchen wollen, lassen wir jetzt zu, daß die Entropie S von der Zeit abhängt. Präziser ausgedrückt, wir betrachten zwei Untersysteme mit den Entropien S und S', die anfangs unter verschiedenen Bedingungen gehalten werden, z.B. auf verschiedenen Temperaturen. Die lokale Produktionsrate der Entropie führt zu einer zeitlichen Entropieänderung (erster Term auf der linken Seite) und einem Entropiefluss (zweiter Term).
