The new programming language gives the fundamental to foil its importance with the current programming language to calculate the furtherance the new programming language gives to the developers. These types of studies can show the importance, improvements, and purpose of new programming languages. In this article, we analyze the new programming language of Apple that is swift with the existing programming language (Objective-C). We are going to describe the changes, components, and freshness to verify the words of Apple said about the swift language. For the replacement of objective-C, Swift needs to assure that it contains a lot of new features as Apple said. Apple has sure-fire that swift will be faster than the Objective-C, as well as it contains a lot of modern language features that are necessary for today's era. In this thesis, it is justified by creating iOS application totally in swift. Developer finds that swift is faster and more efficient by Objective-C. It's proof that swift have a lot of new features and many advantages over the Objective-C and it is also easy to learn. Swift was launched to offer replacement of Objective-C because this has a syntax which barely evolved from the time of its creation and has a big difference with other programming languages that have appeared in the modern era, because they have based on C++ syntax. For this, Swift is inspired in a new programming language like C++, C#, Go, Java, Python, Ruby, JavaScript. Then this syntax is different than the former language. The Swift' s syntax is more simple because it does not use pointers and includes improvements in its data structures and in its syntax. Swift has a simple syntax which helps developers to have fewer mistakes. Swift is an object-oriented and imperative programming language as Objective-C but swift incorporates the functional programming. Some examples of this are filters, amp. Due to these facts, it is important to learn swift to check if Swift could be a programming language adapted to the new times and if it could facilitate the application development for platforms.

This presentation is an introduction to Ruby programming language and Ruby on-Rails, in especial case. The architecture, applications, installation guide and project creation of Ruby on-Rails is discussed in this manuscript. Additionally, Active-Records, CRUD and Migration concepts are shown by a real example. Presentation was under supervision of Dr. Fatemeh Ahmadi Abkenari at the University of Guilan.

Macedonian ruby, a unique local raspberry-pink variety of this beautiful gemstone is arriving to be steadily exploited in Macedonia as well. The Republic of Macedonia is actually the only country in mainland Europe to have naturally occurring rubies. Macedonian rubies have a unique pale-raspberry color, characteristically pink and red colored corundum crystals. Prismatic crystals of the blue colored variety are rarely found in Macedonia.

Ruby growth in phlogopite-bearing marbles has been indirectly dated using the 40Ar/39Ar laser stepwise heating technique on purified syngenetic phlogopite and other micas from ruby deposits in Yen Bai, Luc Yen and Quy Chau mining districts, in northern Vietnam. The principal results indicate the following.(1) Across the Red River shear zone, the phlogopites from the Yen Bai deposits yielded Miocene cooling ages between 23.2 and 24.4 Ma identical to those previously published using the same dating method on magmatic and metamorphic rocks from the Day Nui Con Voi range.(2) Luc Yen ruby deposits in the Lo Gam zone, on the eastern flank of the Red River shear zone, yielded Oligocene cooling 40Ar/39Ar mica ages between 30.8 and 34.0 Ma. Regarding the age of ruby crystallisation itself, the most plausible hypothesis is that all rubies in both zones formed during the period 40 to 35 Ma. Diachronism of cooling in adjacent zones leads to the conclusion that around 35 Ma, the ductile deformation in the Lo Gam zone ended and the ruby-bearing marbles cooled rapidly while the high-temperature deformation remained in the Red River shear zone, resulting in cooling through blocking temperature, some 15 Ma later.(3) The Quy Chau ruby deposit is restricted to the Quy Chau shear zone that bounds the eastern part of the Oligocene–Miocene Bu Khang dome. Phlogopite and biotite samples reveal Miocene cooling ages between 21 and 22.5 Ma which are minimum ages for ruby formation. These ages could be linked with the end of the extension of the Bu Khang dome.Vietnamese ruby formation is linked to Cenozoic tectonics resulting from continental collision between the Asian and Eurasian plates as for other marble-hosted ruby deposits in Central and Southeast Asia.

Finite-state machines (FSMs) are among the oldest models employed in the formalization and analysis of both software and hardware. Owing to their simplicity, there exist various implementations to support their practical application in mainstream programming languages. Through such software libraries, programmers can explicitly define states, events and transitions in order to delegate the machine's execution to an underlying engine. However, as far as we know, no such library provides formal verification capabilities alongside its execution engine. That is to say, once an FSM is defined, the resulting program cannot be used as a formal specification to be subject to formal verification , thereby not making the analytical tractability of FSMs available. Formal verification, if any, is conducted in an independent model separate from the program, thus duplicating the information and creating the possibility of discrepancies between both. In this paper we show how to overcome this limitation. To this end, we present the Verum library, which allows the specification, execution and verification of FSMs in the Ruby language, largely bypassing the need to explicitly employ an additional modeling language. Formal verification is achieved by automatically translating the source program of the FSM into a Timed Automaton (TA) specification for the UPPAAL model checker. To illustrate the value of the approach, we present the industrial problem which inspired the creation of this tool and is currently using it, namely, a payment system. Besides the technical aspects of the tool, a number of practical lessons learned with this application are explored. Although we describe very concrete artifacts and applications, the overall approach is quite general.

Single crystal (0001) oriented, sapphire samples were implanted with 150 keV Cr ions at fluences between 6.0×1014 and 4.0×1015 Cr/cm2. The peak concentrations ranged from 0.04 to 0.28 at %. Characteristic photoluminescence of the R lines at 694.3 and 692.9 nm was observed. Annealing at 1450 °C for 2 h increased the luminescence intensity by a factor of 45, due to the increasing fraction of substitutional Cr ions as confirmed by Rutherford backscattering spectrometry. The Cr luminescence decay rate in an annealed sample implanted with 3.0×1015 at/cm2 at 300 K is 299 s−1. Decay rates were also measured for samples covered with a range of transparent liquids (refractive indexn=1.33–1.57), showing a clear increase with increasing refractive index of the liquid. This effect is explained by the increase of the local optical density of states in the Cr-implanted region. By comparing the measured data with the calculated optical density of states the radiative decay rate is found to be 164±10 s−1 and the internal quantum efficiency ∼50%. The quantum efficiency decreases slightly for increasing Cr concentration.

Raman and Infrared spectroscopy combined with microthermometry investigations on primary and secondary fluid inclusions provided evidence of CO2–H2S–COS–S8–AlO(OH)-bearing fluids with native sulphur and diaspore daughter minerals, without visible water. Diaspore appeared as a nonvisible film of 2–3 μm coating the wall of the fluid inclusion cavity and native sulphur was generally nucleated during Raman irradiation. The presence of diaspore and COS in the fluid inclusions indicates that water was present in the paleofluid. The mole fractions of H2O and CO2 are around 10−2 and the expected concentration of water in the fluid inclusions is in the 1–10 mol.% range. Crush-leach identified sulphates and chlorides that are assigned to the presence of anhydrite and Na–Ca–Cl salts found by SEM in the ruby crystals.
