expands its business wings, different products, and services of the company and various strategies used by the company to expand its business and market capital. Contribution of the  company to software industry as well as our nation and listed number of awards and accolades received by the company and also explored some problems faced by software companies in India including TCS. And finally, we analyze the business strategies of the company using SWOT analysis.

Rising rivalry in the worldwide business environment propels the organizations to create upper hand over different organizations. At the center of an effective employer brand is a reasonable employee value proposition or EVP. To be genuinely effective, an employer brand needs to reflect who you are as an organization and be joined into each part of the employee experience. Employer branding imparts the personality of an organization to people in general. The aim of this paper is to investigate the effects of glass ceiling perception on the turnover intention among female workers in IT industry. This paper proposes a conceptual model to examine the relationship between glass ceiling perception and turnover intention. Besides, this paper also proposes the mediating variables, which job satisfaction and commitment that are expected to mediate the relationship between glass ceiling perception and turnover intention. The findings of this study may provide new conceptualisation related to the turnover intention among female workers that may allow for more empirical research to be conducted in the future studying the effects on other human resource management aspects.

ABSTRACT
Employee retention within information technology has remained challenging due to the high rates of employee turnover. Numerous studies have explored the retention and turnover phenomenon to understand the factors that influence each and determine the appropriate human resource approach. This study examined employee retention in the IT industry in General Santos City in the Philippines to determine the relationship between employee retention and three identified factors: human resource practices, employee motivation, and job satisfaction. Thus, it provides a recommendation for developing an employee retention program. In this study, a quantitative research design was adopted using a survey questionnaire administered to a sample size of 384 IT employees from across different IT enterprises and other related business organizations. To substantiate the quantitative research design results, a qualitative research tool was also adopted using a focused group discussion participated by human resource practitioners and managers or owners of  IT enterprises. Collective results showed that human resource practices are the primary factor that influences the high retention rate of IT employees. In other words, there is a perfect positive correlation between HR practices and employee retention. Employee motivation and job satisfaction were secondary factors, thereby suggesting that these two are only consequences of HR practices. Employee retention programs aimed at increasing employee retention or reducing employee turnover rates should be built around HR practices fitted to IT professionals' needs.

This paper provides empirical evidence of the advantages of centralized public procurement by means of a case study conducted from March to December 2011 in the Ministry of Planning, Budget and Management in Brazil. The case study analyzes public tenders for the acquisition of ICT products and services and demonstrates that centralized procurement can enhance the achievement of the following benefits: (i) cost reduction through economies of scale; (ii) product and service standardization; (iii) quality optimization of products and services procured; and (iv) knowledge sharing among specialists, resulting in better use of human resources. The study also shows that centralized procurement benefits small public bodies, allowing them to acquire better products at a lower cost and to allocate their limited human and financial resources in sectors more directly related to their core competencies. The lack of autonomy of the Procurement Unit and the absence of an efficient pattern of communication between this Unit and other departments are identified as constraints that should be addressed to make centralized procurement more efficient.

This study extends the new product development (NPD) process research to a new environmental context (Taiwan's IT industry) and a new business type (original design manufacturing, ODM). Taiwan's IT industry has achieved a very outstanding performance during the last two decades. The island's experience is quite valuable for those emerging countries that are struggling to transform themselves from producing low-value goods to making high-technology products. After analyzing the data collected from 153 research and development (R&D) and marketing managers in Taiwanese IT firms, this study finds that the higher the perceived importance of R&D–marketing cooperation is, the higher the attained level of R&D–marketing cooperation will be. Consequently, a better NPD performance can be achieved. This study additionally reports that a firm that has adopted a Defender innovation strategy attains a lower level of R&D–marketing cooperation, and has a poorer NPD performance than those firms that adopted either Prospector or Analyzer innovation strategies. Finally, environmental uncertainty has no significant impacts on the perceived importance and the attained level of R&D–marketing cooperation.

Having had its fair share of challenges, the IT industry faces yet another threat. Only this time, the challenge can best be described as the global talent warfare. As with other industries, the IT industry is facing a tight labour market and top talent has never been as valuable as it is today. Given this situation, organisations’ ability to attract top management, effectively deploy line management to develop talent and retain top talent is being tested, and it will be those who can do it best who stand a chance of winning the talent war.

In today's business environment companies are facing pressure to innovate and create new knowledge, that these issues have forced them to spend large sums on research and development, involving in high-risk investments, finding exclusive sources and even look for high-tech products with short life cycle. Coopetition strategy (competition and cooperation simultaneously) for companies that are seeking to innovate in order to compete in today's global market, is an essential strategy and provide many innovation opportunities for firms. In this study, the effects of collaboration in IT industry on innovation performance has been investigated in the implementation of the coopetition strategy. This study, is an applied research in terms of purpose, a descriptive survey in terms of data gathering and a correlational study considering relations between variables. The study population consists of Iranian companies operating in IT industry. Data were collected from 180 companies. The hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling via WARP PLS3. The results showed that coopetition strategy and cooperation in industry has an impact on innovation performance. Also, coopetition strategy moderate the relationship between the cooperation in industry and innovation performance.

In many existing solutions of image-to-image rendering problems, the only focus is to find the closest output of the Generative Adversarial Network (GAN). In this research article, authors propose a generative adversarial network, a solution to pixel-to-pixel rendering problems, and reduced the loss function to the maximum under all interactions. For achieving the best result, we have considered the mean square loss function in the generator and binary cross for the discriminator. Our proposed model deals with not only images but also read sketches where the edges are not sharp too. We have used a facade dataset to test our proposed model.

Public R&D subsidies aim to target particularly risky R&D and R&D with large externalities. One would expect many such projects to fail from a commercial point of view, but they may still produce knowledge with social value. Such knowledge is likely to be embodied in workers or teams of workers. I utilize a large matched employer-employee data set and test for knowledge diffusion from subsidised technology firms transmitted through the labor market. The specific case analysed is a series of Norwegian IT-programs so far considered unsuccessful, but which have been linked to the rise of a new generation of successful IT-firms. ABSTRACT The purpose of this paper is to show how the Indian IT industry could position itself in the Japanese market. But in order to accomplish this, it is necessary to identify the key challenges and opportunities the Indian IT industry faces in the Japanese market. The opportunities for India, as well as other IT-strong developing countries, are to supply technical talent, whose availability in Japan is constrained by the secular demographic crisis and changing educational and occupational preferences. The challenges for India are the institutional barriers, in particular, Japanese business practices that act as significant barriers to the entry of foreign skilled professionals. The paper brings out the source and pattern of foreign professionals and students in Japan as a proxy for talent. Though India’s presence in Japan is currently limited, its share of technical professionals to the total number of Indians in Japan is the highest. Also, the preconditions in the Japanese economy suggest a historic opportunity to forge a long-term, mutually beneficial, bilateral partnership between the two countries. For India, this means reducing its dependence on the US market and availing new learning opportunities. For Japan, it means access to technical professionals and managed interfacing with the global economy.

As of April 2006, Korea had successfully invited twelve global IT R&D centers to help implement the u-IT839 strategy of Ministry of Information and Communication, but there have also been some doubts about their research and collaboration performance in Korea. Although it is too early to evaluate the outcomes of inviting global IT R&D centers only after two years or less of their working, the Korean government is being advised to employ a more customized invitation strategy. In this paper, an analytic framework for the attraction of global R&D centers is developed based on the attractiveness-competitiveness matrix, and is applied empirically to the IT industry. Fourteen major IT technology categories and their sub-technological fields are classified into four strategic groups (priority group, wish group, consideration group, and hold group) along the framework via expert surveys and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique. This study is expected to help the government to implement the dasiaselect and concentratepsila strategy in inviting global R&D centers and creating synergies among them by providing basic data on global R&D partnership priorities.
