Quote: | Märchen Clown (Fairy Tale Clown, Note: The title's katakana spelling クラウン could also mean "crown") |
Based on the subject matter I expect it is titled Fairy Tale Crown.

If someone else is composing the story, maybe this won't collapse into a tinfoil ball with meaningless, haphazard plot twists the moment Akasaka finds a new toy to chew on.

I wonder if Aka is heading the Urobuchi route where he just comes up with stories and other people write them. After all the controversies over his recent work, maybe that's for the best.

He seriously needs to stop trying to create.
He clearly doesn't know how to properly end a story. I know I don't support his work anymore. He lost my trust

I want to have faith in Aka Akasaka, but I also get why many are concerned or doubtful. The guy has great ideas, is able to write beginning arcs that really hook you in, and I do think he enjoys making these stories. When it comes to ending them though? Uhhhhh....
For the record, I'm probably one of the few that liked Kaguya's ending. Oshi no Ko and Renai Daikō's endings are a whole other story. I can only hope that Akasaka has learned to manage his pacing with this new project.

Yeah, that’s definitely possible. If he sticks to coming up with concepts and lets other writers handle the execution, it could actually make for a stronger story. Still, I’d love to see his unique style shine through.

It’s like this author wants to be for Anime & Manga what george rr martin is to Heroic Fantasy; take a normally joyful, idealistic & hopeful genre (Romantic Comedy & Idol Anime), vomit as much bitterness, cruelty & cynicism on it as their gall can muster, and then sneer “See! Now it’s mature and compelling “high-art” because as it’s twisted, dark, mean spirited & hopeless as my nihilistic perception of reality!”

Gonna be the lone voice of dissent here and say I’m not only excited for this next manga, but that the ending to Kaguya Love is War was good actually, I can understand people’s complaints with the Oshi no Ko ending, even if I don’t fully agree with them, but Kaguya had a fantastic ending and I have no idea what everyone’s on about with that ending being bad. The only character endings I can understand people not liking are Miko, and Yu’s ending, but everything else about that ending was perfect. So yeah I have 100% confidence that this manga will not only be good but also have a good ending because he hasn't written a bad ending yet.
