The Australia and New Zealand Dialysis and Transplant Registry (ANZDATA) is a clinical quality registry that collects and produces a wide range of statistics relating to the outcomes of treatment of those with end-stage kidney failure.  ANZDATA has been in operation since 1977 and all dialysis and transplant services, in Australia and New Zealand, contribute data to The Registry.

ANZDATA’s fundamental purpose is to report on the incidence, prevalence and outcomes of dialysis and transplant treatment for patients with end stage kidney disease across Australia and New Zealand.

The ANZDATA Registry operates as a clinical quality registry within the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) – ABN 54 141 228 346. We are an independent business unit. Our Registry office is located on Level 4 South of the SAHMRI Building, on North Terrace, in the Medi-Precinct of Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.

Established at SAHMRI since 2016, we were previously operating under South Australian (SA) Health at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) from 2010 and prior at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) since its inception in 1977.
