Stuart Tank History and Lady Lois Restoration by Adam Hartzell (STMA Board of Directors and Tank Driver) and Thomas McLaughlin (STMA Secretary and Museum Curator) provide a three-part presentation on the History and Significance of Stuart Tank Production at American Car and Foundry; Lady Lois - the search, the homecoming, the restoration; and an overview of the Stuart Tank Memorial Museum and Events. AFV Weathering by Evan McCallum shares his techniques for weathering armored vehicles, including surface weathering effects such as chipping, washes, filtering, streaking effects and dust accumulations. Seminar attendees can follow along and build their own examples on a small practice model. All materials are provided, and participants can take home what they create during the seminar. XPS Foam Brickwork and Cobbles by Mike McElhaney will lead a hands-on seminar for creating brickwork and cobbles suitable as a base or diorama accessories from XPS foamboard. Mike will demonstrate his techniques for carving and shaping foamboard, while the participants follow along and build their own examples on a small practice board. All materials are provided, and participants can take home what they create during the seminar. U.S. Army Armor & Cavalry Collection Restoration Shop - Current and Future Restoration Projects for 2025 by The National Armor and Cavalry Heritage Foundation and the Armor and Cavalry Collection Restoration team (Bill Ferguson and/or Bob Barlow) provide updates on their ongoing restoration projects at the Armor and Cavalry collection located a Fort Moore (Benning) Georgia. Killing The Tank on a Plank, An intro to base building by Dan Feldman shares his techniques for creating eye catching bases that enhance the look of tracked and wheeled vehicles in a realistic setting. Dan will demonstrate his technique step by step while the participants follow along and build their own examples on a small practice board. All materials are provided, and participants can take home what they create during the seminar. Soldering and Working with Photo Etch by Rob Riviezzo demonstrates his techniques for soldering and working with photo–etch (PE) parts to add detail to your build. British WW2 Vehicle markings by Chris Lloyd-Staples provides an in-depth orientation to British Vehicle Markings commonly seen during World War II. Chris covers the British administrative and tactical marking system, including unit codes, tank marking system, seniority-based color coding and numbering. Egyptian Armor 1948-1956: The Interesting Years by Chris Weeks provides a visual overview of the Egyptian army's eclectic range of foreign sourced armored vehicles employed between 1948 through 1956. The photos mostly are from Egyptian sources, rarely seen outside the country, and private collections.
