I thought you were talking about the written test.

I would take a driver education course if I were you. https://driversed.com/courses/drivin.../Glendale.aspx

So you almost ran into someone..... while doing your driving test.
Yeah, you're not ready to drive yet, please take a class and get more practice first.
For the sake of everyone else on the road!

.
To be fair, the CA written test has a lot of tricky questions about very specific items that you wouldn't know unless you had just read the manual. Is the speed limit 15 or 20 mph in this specific circumstance? Should you be 100 or 120 feet behind that truck ahead of you? Stuff like that.

All of that is covered in the handbook. I read it myself otherwise how would I know? I have not taken a driver test in 33 years and I did not move here with CA road law knowledge.

The handbook is very detailed and goes over these situations.

The last time I took the written test years ago, I got one question wrong. I still remember the question. It went something like:

What is the legal BAC in California?

a. 0.80 b. 0.10 c. 0.08 d. 0.01

I chose A. After they graded it, I went

I knew the answer was 0.08 I just took the test too quickly. At 0.80 you're dead.

Stupid decimal point!
