The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, September 20, reveals that Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) summoned Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) to the cliff house to get something straight. Taylor insisted she came back to spend time with her family – not to make a play for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Brooke asked if that meant they could be friends, so Taylor said maybe they could try again if Brooke gave Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) the advice she needed.
Although Brooke argued she was clear about John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) being off-limits, Taylor acted like Brooke should be doing more to get through to Hope.
However, Brooke thought they both wanted their children to be happy and said she’d make sure Hope didn’t follow her heart to Finn.
With that in mind, Taylor guessed they should work on being friends – and Brooke said she’d like that.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was skeptical about Taylor actually putting down roots. That’s why Steffy asked Ridge to talk to Taylor and see if he could convince her to stay in Los Angeles.
At the hospital on Friday’s B&B episode, Captain Deuce Stevens (Tom Arnold) was Finn’s patient.
The Forrester pilot became convinced that his lab results were going to be terrible and urged April (Jamison Belushi) the lab tech to give it to him straight.
April insisted she could only give the lab results directly to Finn, who reappeared after a phone call.
Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) picked up some lab results from April as well, so Deuce was surprised to learn there were two Dr. Finnegans.
Since April acted rather flirty in front of Finn, Deuce noticed it and suggested it was too bad Finn was spoken for!
As for the lab results that Deuce was dreading, Finn ultimately assured him that everything looked just fine.
After Taylor texted Li in hopes of meeting up, she told Finn that it was probably about Taylor starting up her practice again.
Li didn’t think it was anything to worry about and headed off to the cliff house.
Back with Taylor, she told Brooke that the older she got, the more she wanted to leave this world a better place.
Taylor was glad they were working toward peace since life was too short to hold onto resentments.
Once Brooke left, Li came over and asked Taylor if everything was OK. Taylor said she wanted to talk to Li – one doctor to another.
After Li wondered if this was about restating Taylor’s practice, Taylor delivered news about visiting a doctor in Europe.
“I have heart failure. I’m dying,” Taylor confessed as Friday’s B&B episode wrapped up.
