Audi Kicks Off 20th Anniversary In The Philippines With Launch Of 2025 Q7, Q8

Audi marks the start of its 20th anniversary in the Philippines with the introduction of the new Q7 and Q8. These flagship full-sized SUVs offer a more striking look together with an even more extensive list of premium features.

“As we mark our 20th year of delivering Audi models and services that befit the progressive status of the brand, we are launching the new Audi Q7 and Q8 to represent the start of Audi's bold product offensive this year. The introduction of these models yet again demonstrate our unwavering commitment to continuously provide consumers with vehicles that come in a diverse selection of powertrain options, distinct performance characteristics, and innovative features unmatched by any other brand in the domestic premium segment,” says Benedicto Coyiuto, Audi Philippines Head.

Both the Q7 and Q8 are powered by Audi’s 3.0-liter turbocharged TFSI V6 engine producing 340 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Combined with an 8-speed automatic and Audi’s renowned quattro permanent all-wheel drive system, it delivers a 5.6-second 0 to 100 km/h spring and a top speed of 250 km/h. In addition, with mild hybrid (MHEV) technology, they are more fuel efficient than ever.

The quattro system aside, the Q7 and Q8 both have adaptive air suspension helping them deliver an even more secure and comfortable ride. Dynamically, it helps keep these vehicles level even during cornering, accelerating, or hard braking. The ride and handling characteristics can be changed through the Audi drive select function.

The new Audi Q7, and by extension, the Q8, carries the new design language and this can be seen in the new Singleframe grille, now defined by octagonal patterns arranged by vertical inlays, while below it are new prominent air intakes. High-intensity Matrix LED headlights with new DRLs and dynamic turn signals complete the changes upfront. At the side, are new door trims and 20-inch wheels finished in a five-spoke design. At the back are revised LED taillights, tailpipes, and rear diffuser.

The sportier Q8 dons the same styling language as the Q7, but elevated by the S line exterior package. At the side are 21-inch cast wheels in a 5-V spoke pattern finished, while the high-gloss black B-pillar are laser-etched with the model’s name and variant. At the back are distinct tailpipes and a light strip spanning the entire width of the vehicle.

Both models come standard with the striking Black Styling package which adds high-gloss black exterior elements on the doors and roof rails. Front and center of the singleframe grille are the new 3D-look Audi rings logo finished in Polar White.

With genuine space for seven, the Q7 offers generous head- and elbow room across all rows. The second-row seats can be individually adjusted, while the third-row fold electrically to accommodate more luggage, if needed. An electrically powered tailgate can be activated by a swipe gesture. Inside, the Q7 now feature matte-brushed aluminum inlays. The updated Audi virtual cockpit and MMI system make for a highly digitalized experience, backed up by features such as a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system, four-zone climate control, heat-insulated glazing for the windshield and windows, ambient LED interior lighting, and soft-close doors.

Meanwhile, the Q8 has diamond-patterned silver-gray inlays, Valcona and Cricket leather combination seats, and S line aluminum door sills. It also has the same features found in the Q7 such as the Bang & Olufsen premium audio system, four-zone climate control, and ambient LED interior lighting.

  1. To be honest, only few in the Philippines would buy these when there is already Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Mazda and even Ford.
