I'm thinking it's F-VF, got the chance to buy this for $38.50 from a flea market.

What do you think the grade is?

It wouldn't grade any higher than a Fine for me plus it has countless issues. It has toning, staining and a staple hole (which is most visible on the reverse lower left side by the ONE marker). Look for 2 bright pinholes about 2cm apart. I think most reputable LCS would price it at G-VG. Take your time & good luck.

I would say VF 25 on a good day but would say most likely a 20

Today, I left the place without buying it - but I did find one at another nearby flea market for $2.25. Probably 1/5 of it is missing but it is still nice details.

I guess that I'm overly glad I shopped around! That, and I didn't have enough money on me to buy all the funny backs and the 1918 Cleveland national dollar that was offered. I did get several other coins though.

The grade is very circulated and creased. I agree with F20.
    $30 max.
