Union City may refer to:
Union City is a city in Wayne Township, Randolph County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 3,584.
Union City was a stop along the Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railroad, a forerunner of the Pennsylvania Railroad that connected Pittsburgh to Chicago and St. Louis. The Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railway (also known as the "Big Four", a predecessor of the New York Central) had the east-west route connecting Indianapolis, Anderson and Muncie, Indiana with Sidney, Bellefontaine and Columbus, Ohio. It is believed by some area residents that the town got its nickname "The Hub City" because the two railroads intersected near the Ohio and Indiana state line.
Union City was platted in 1849, eleven years after its twin city of Union City, Ohio. A post office has been in operation at Union City, Indiana since 1852.
Union City is located at 40°12′4″N 84°48′54″W / 40.20111°N 84.81500°W / 40.20111; -84.81500 (40.201173, -84.815094).
Union City Bart Station is a Bay Area Rapid Transit station located in downtown Union City near the Decoto district. Service at this station began on September 11, 1972. The station sits near Decoto Road east of Alvarado-Niles Road, directly behind James Logan High School's campus. Temporary parking spaces were constructed in 2006, and opened in the Summer of 2007.
The station is currently undergoing construction through 2016 to create a second entrance on the other side of the station. The new eastern station entrance will entail remodeling of station's platforms and lobby, new bus stops shelthers will be built near entrance, and a pedestrian bridge will be built to connect the East plaza, the opening of this phase will happen at a future date.
Local bus service is provided by Union City Transit and AC Transit.
Currently, no connection to other regional trains exists at Union City BART station. In February 2008, Union City's Economic Development Department and BART proposed that this station become a regional rail intermodal station. The intermodal station would serve BART trains, Capitol Corridor intercity trains, and Caltrain commuter rail service to the Peninsula via a new rail bridge located near the Dumbarton Bridge. For now, the Dumbarton Express bus service provides such service to the Peninsula, operating between Union City and Palo Alto. Funding for this project went to Bart to San Jose project which would be opened in 2017, however the current status for Dumbarton Rail is unknown.
Hier - voller Sehnsucht
Halte ich deine Tränen in der Hand
Hier - voller Sehnsucht
Hier - voller Sehnsucht
Giess ich deine Träne in den Sand
Hier - voller Sehnsucht
