Angela Faye Kinsey (born June 25, 1971) is an American actress. She is known for her role as the uptight accountant Angela Martin in the NBC television series The Office. Since April 2015, Kinsey has had a recurring role on the TBS comedy Your Family or Mine.
Kinsey was born in Lafayette, Louisiana. When she was two years old, her family moved to Jakarta, Indonesia, where her father worked as a drilling engineer. They lived there for twelve years, and she attended the Jakarta International School. During this time she learned Indonesian, a language she still occasionally speaks. Her family then returned to the United States and settled in Archer City, Texas.
Kinsey studied English at Baylor University, where she became a member of the Chi Omega sorority, "took as many theatre classes as possible," and participated in the "Baylor in London" program. In a 2007 interview with the Baylor student newspaper, she discussed the influence of her years at the university: "It was the perfect place for me to grow into who I am and take the belief system that I had and incorporate it into my life. It was a great place to go to school."
A robot is a virtual or mechanical artificial agent, usually an electro-mechanical machine.
Robot or Robots may also refer to:
The robot (or mannequin) is an illusionary street dance style – often confused with popping – that attempts to imitate a dancing robot or mannequin. Roboting gained fame after Michael Jackson used the dance when he performed "Dancing Machine" with his brothers, and later performed the dance during his solo career in songs such as "Billie Jean".
The robot was created in 1967. It is a dance in which the dancer moves their limbs in a way that imitates the movements of a robot. Movements of the robot are normally started and finished with a dimestop (a very abrupt stop), to give the impression of motors starting and stopping, but poppers have also been known to do the robot with a pop to the beat. As long as the illusion of being a robot is maintained, it is considered the robot.
Enthiran (English: Robot) is a 2010 Indian Tamil science fiction film directed by S. Shankar and co-written by him and Sujatha Rangarajan. The film stars Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles; Danny Denzongpa, Santhanam and Karunas play supporting roles. The soundtrack album and background score were composed by A. R. Rahman while the dialogues, cinematography, editing and art direction were handled by Madhan Karky, R. Rathnavelu, Anthony and Sabu Cyril respectively.
The story revolves around a scientist's struggle to control his creation, an android (both played by Rajinikanth), whose software is upgraded to give it the ability to comprehend and exhibit human emotions. The project backfires when the robot falls in love with the scientist's girlfriend (Rai Bachchan), and is manipulated by a rival scientist (Denzongpa) into becoming homicidal.
After being stalled in the development phase for nearly a decade, the film's principal photography began in 2008 and lasted two years. Enthiran marked the debut of Legacy Effects studio, which was responsible for the film's prosthetic make-up and animatronics, in Indian cinema. Enthiran was released worldwide on 1 October 2010, along with its dubbed versions: Robot in Hindi and Robo in Telugu. Produced by Kalanithi Maran, it was India's most expensive film up to that point.
I told my sisters that I met someone
I told my mother that I've fallen in love
I couldn't tell my dad; it's best I don't
I couldn't tell my dad; he shouldn't know
They wouldn't understand what you're really like
They wouldn't understand what this love's about
They'd try to set me right, hold me back
And then you can't be mine
You're the only one who makes me feel a thing
I'm in love with the robot
Come to get me when the stars die
My heart belongs to you, it always will
But they will ruin it, I know for sure
So it has come to this, can't take the pain
This is the end
You're the only one who makes me feel a thing
I'm in love with the robot
Come to get me when the stars die
