The Black and White Album is the fourth studio album by Swedish rock band The Hives. The track listing for The Black and White Album was confirmed on the band's German website on 13 September 2007, and later through NME. The Hives recorded 20 to 30 songs (including seven recorded with super producers The Neptunes) for this album from which they finally chose the best. Other tracks were produced by Jacknife Lee and Dennis Herring. Sessions were held with Timbaland, with whom the band produced the song "Throw It On Me", but took place too late for any of the resulting tracks to be on the album. They hoped to use these songs as B-sides.
The band revealed in an NME interview that one song, "Puppet on a String", has just "piano and hand claps".
The song "A Stroll Through Hive Manor Corridors" is an instrumental using just a 1960s organ and a drum machine.
The song "Fall Is Just Something Grownups Invented" was written and was being used for autumn promotions on the US television channel Cartoon Network. This song appears as a bonus track on the United Kingdom version of the album, the iTunes release in the United States and in the Japanese Edition with the album, along with "Hell No".
The Black & White Album is the eighth solo album from American singer-songwriter and violinist Imani Coppola. It was released on the Mike Patton-owned Ipecac Recordings in 2007, her first for the label. The album included the singles "Woke Up White", "Springtime", and "I Love Your Hair." Only one video ("Woke Up White") was released. The album became a favorite with critics including positive write ups in Entertainment Weekly, Billboard, and Rolling Stone.

The Beatles, also known as the White Album, is the ninth studio album by English rock group the Beatles, released on 22 November 1968. A double album, its plain white sleeve has no graphics or text other than the band's name embossed, and was intended as a direct contrast to the vivid cover artwork of the band's earlier Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Although no singles were issued from The Beatles in Britain and the United States, the songs "Hey Jude" and "Revolution" originated from the same recording sessions and were issued on a single in August 1968. The album's songs range in style from British blues and ska to tracks influenced by the Beach Boys and Karlheinz Stockhausen.
Most of the songs on the album were written during March and April 1968 at a Transcendental Meditation course in Rishikesh, India. The group returned to EMI Studios in May with recording lasting through to October. During these sessions, arguments broke out among the Beatles, and witnesses in the studio saw band members quarrel over creative differences. The feuds intensified when Lennon's new partner, Yoko Ono, started attending the sessions. After a series of problems, including producer George Martin taking a sudden leave of absence and engineer Geoff Emerick quitting, Ringo Starr left the band briefly in August. The same tensions continued throughout the following year, leading to the eventual break-up of the Beatles in April 1970.
White Album (ホワイトアルバム, Howaito Arubamu) is a Japanese adult visual novel developed by Leaf, and was originally released on May 1, 1998 for Microsoft Windows PCs as a CD-ROM. A PlayStation 3 version published by Aquaplus with several modification was released in 2010. A sequel to the original visual novel, titled White Album 2, was released in two parts in 2010 and 2011. The gameplay in White Album follows a linear plot line, which offers pre-determined scenarios and courses of interaction, and focuses on the appeal of the female main characters.
White Album has received several transitions to other media. A manga adaptation illustrated by Japanese illustrator Chako Abeno began serialization in the shōnen magazine Dengeki Daioh in August 2008. It was followed by an anime adaptation produced by Seven Arcs, which began broadcast in Japan on January 3, 2009. Characters from White Album are also featured as partner characters Aquapazza: Aquaplus Dream Match, a fighting game developed by Aquaplus with characters from various Leaf games.
Black and white is a form of visual representation that does not use color.

Once on a cold dark night
Born into this world
They couldn't tell back then
Is it a boy or a girl?
And since then a story
Of uncertainty
It was clear by age 5
That he would never be free
Hey little world! You know what you're getting
Oh please little world! He's kicking your head in
What you gonna do, any one of you?
What you gonna do? Here he comes for you
Anyone of you, what you gonna do?
What you gonna do? Here he comes for you
Grew up with plans for nothing
Lives in a house of clay
He didn't know back then
That they liked him that way
He never did what they told him
He never did what they said
Tried to tell him roll over again and this is what you get
Hey little world! You know what you're getting
Oh please little world! He's kicking your head in
What you gonna do, any one of you?
What you gonna do? Here he comes for you
Anyone of you, what you gonna do?
What you gonna do? Here he comes for you
Take it to your mother
Now he is tall as a 'scraper
Now he is as wide as the sea
And when you look all around you
He is all you see
All around the planet
He's gonna make sure you heard
Hey little world! You know what you're getting
Oh please little world! He's kicking your head in
He's got 'em all lined up and ready to go
They're all lined up and I told you so
Hey little world! Back in the ocean again
What you gonna do, any one of you?
What you gonna do? Here he comes for you
Anyone of you, what you gonna do?
What you gonna do? Here he comes for you
What you gonna do, any one of you?
What you gonna do? Here he comes for you
Hey little world! Back in the ocean again
Said, Hey little world! Back in the ocean again
