Seven Oaks Estate, the former Charles F. Park estate, is a historic estate located at Palisades in Rockland County, New York. The main estate house is a large clapboarded structure built in 1862 in the Gothic Revival style. The house features a projecting central bay and full-width verandah. Also on the property are a coachman's house, built about 1862, and four subsidiary outbuildings.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Seven Oaks is an unincorporated community in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. Though it is included in the census-designated place of Odenton, it lies across from Fort Meade and the NSA, and is more apart of those communities. It covers more than 725 acres (2.93 km²) of land, and development began in 1987. The neighborhood includes a nature reserve, an elementary school, a community center with outdoor pool, fitness center, tennis courts, basketball court, 2nd smaller pool on the opposite side of the community, daycare center and a small shopping center. Seven Oaks has approximately 4,000 residential units and 1,500,000 square feet (140,000 m²) of retail, commercial and office space. Seven Oaks has single family homes, town homes, apartments, and duplex homes. It includes a daycare and three swimming pools.

The Base Realignment and Closure, 2005 plan is expected to bring about 700 families to Seven Oaks.

Seven Oaks is a former provincial electoral division in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It was created in 1956, and eliminated in 1989.

The riding was located in north-end Winnipeg, and was safe for the Cooperative Commonwealth Federation and New Democratic Party for most of its history.

Oaks Estate is an urban village situated immediately on the northern side of the NSW-ACT border abutting the township of Queanbeyan in south-eastern New South Wales, Australia. The estate covers an area of approximately 40 hectares and is bound by the Molonglo River to the north, 'The Oaks' to the east and the Queanbeyan-Cooma railway to the south. The village is located 12 kilometres from the centre of Canberra. The village is also noteworthy as the nucleus of Queanbeyan's industrial development during the second half of the 19th century. Oaks Estate takes its name from 'The Oaks', which was part of Duntroon, Robert Campbell's farming estate. This makes Oaks Estate one of only a few place names in the ACT with significant connections to early colonial times.

History

Colonial

Timothy Beard, a pardoned convict and former innkeeper from Campbelltown in New South Wales was the first European to occupy the area. In the mid-1820s he drove cattle from Liverpool to graze near the junction of the Molonglo and Queanbeyan Rivers. His station huts which he named ‘Queenbeeann’were located two kilometres downstream from the Molonglo/Queanbeyan River junction in what is today the abattoir paddock. The township of Queanbeyan was established in 1838 about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) south east of Oaks Estate.
