Miss Jojo, born Josiane Uwineza, also known as Iman Uwineza, is a Rwandan R&B singer. Her music blends R&B and traditional Rwandan musical elements.

History

Early years

Born in a town in the Bugesera District of Rwanda in 1983, Uwineza enjoyed singing and dancing as a child and her parents encouraged her to develop her talent.

Musical career

Uwineza launched her singing career after winning the 2007 Rector Excellence Award in the category of "Best Female Artiste" at the National University of Rwanda, where she was completing a Bachelor's Degree in English. Miss Jojo released her debut album, Genesis, the following year.

This was followed by the release of her second album, Woman, in 2012. Her latter album promotes the theme of female empowerment, a cause that the singer champions both on and off the stage. She also uses her lyrics to raise youth awareness of the dangers of drug abuse and HIV/AIDS and encourage Rwandans to participate in national development efforts and make wise choices for their future. She is very active in promoting humanitarian causes.

Jorge Miguel Moreira Larrouy Fernandes (born 6 September 1970), commonly known as Jojó, is a Mozambican retired footballer who played as a midfielder.

Club career

The son of Portuguese settlers in Mozambique, Jojó began his career with Clube de Desportos da Costa do Sol and Clube Ferroviário de Maputo. In 1992 he returned to the land of his ancestors and signed for Boavista FC, but never appeared officially for the team, also being loaned to U.D. Leiria.

Most of Jojó's Portuguese career was spent in the second division. In 1997–98 he had his first and only top flight experience, appearing in 24 scoreless matches for C.F. Os Belenenses as the season ended in relegation. In the country, he also represented, in a total of 12 years, A.D. Ovarense, F.C. Penafiel and S.C. Espinho (two of his six campaigns with the latter club were spent in division three).

In 2005, aged 35, Jojó moved to Australia, closing out his career two years later having represented Fraser Park FC and Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC. He later obtained his UEFA coaching licence, both levels 1 and 2.

Missé is a commune in the Deux-Sèvres department in western France.

It is situated on the River Thouet some 5 km upstream from the town of Thouars, and is the site of a spectacular loop in the river.

Snooker is a cue sport that is played on a baize-covered table with pockets in each of the four corners and in the middle of each of the long side cushions. It is played using a cue and snooker balls: one white cue ball, 15 red balls worth one point each (can also be played with fewer red balls, often 10), and six balls of different colours: yellow (2 points), green (3), brown (4), blue (5), pink (6), black (7). A player (or team) wins a frame (individual game) of snooker by scoring more points than the opponent(s), using the cue ball to pot the red and coloured balls. A player (or team) wins a match when they have achieved the best-of score from a pre-determined number of frames. The number of frames is always odd so as to prevent a tie.

The table

Snooker is played on a rectangular snooker table with six pockets, one at each corner and one in the middle of each long side. The table usually has a slate base, covered in green baize. At one end of the table (the baulk end) is the baulk line, which is 29 inches (74 cm) from the baulk cushion (the short cushion at the baulk end). A semicircle of radius 11 ¹⁄₂ inches (29 cm), called the D, is drawn behind this line, centred on the middle of the line. The cushion at the other end of the table is known as the top cushion.
