Krystal Nicole Meyers is an American Christian rock / Contemporary Christian singer, songwriter, and musician. She released three albums under Essential Records: Krystal Meyers, Dying for a Heart, and Make Some Noise and is known best for her songs: "The Way to Begin", "The Beauty of Grace" and "Hallelujah" and for her international crossover singles "Anticonformity" and "Make Some Noise".

Personal life

Meyers states that she started singing at home at the age of two; sang her first solo in church at the age of five; started writing songs by age ten and was playing the acoustic guitar by thirteen, later releasing her self-titled first album Krystal Meyers at age sixteen in 2005. Her second album, Dying for a Heart, was released on September 19, 2006 and her third Make Some Noise was released on September 9, 2008 and was later used by NBC in promoting its fall 2008 line-up. A sampling of her music was also used on ABC's high-impact Sunday-Night Lineup.

Born in California, she and her family later moved to Eugene, Oregon and when she was six they moved from there to Nashville, Tennessee.

Krystal Meyers is the self-titled debut album by Krystal Meyers, released in 2005 on Essential Records. Krystal's first album was a pop punk album comparable to Ashlee Simpson and Avril Lavigne.

Make Some Noise is the third studio album by the American Christian artist Krystal Meyers. Make Some Noise marks a departure from the alternative/pop rock style of her two previous albums, in favor of a largely 80s-inspired dance-pop sound. The US release of the CD features ten new tracks, while the Japanese-exclusive edition features all ten, plus a bonus track. The album debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart.

“Make Some Noise“ is the second official studio EP by the English progressive rock band Big Big Train. It was released on 23 September 2013 by English Electric Recordings and Burning Shed. It contains four new tracks from the compilation album “English Electric Full Power”, plus a selection of tracks from English Electric Part One and English Electric Part Two, two of which (“Keeper of Abbeys” and “Curator of Butterflies”) are edited versions.

Make Some Noise is a campaign by Amnesty International using music by John Lennon to promote human rights. Well-known artists produce covers of solo-era John Lennon songs exclusively for Amnesty International.

Yoko Ono, widow of John Lennon, donated the recording rights to "Imagine" and John Lennon's entire solo songbook to Amnesty International. Amnesty has since used the rights to encourage new versions of Lennon's songs to be recorded by artists such as R.E.M., U2, Green Day, The Black Eyed Peas, The Cure, The Flaming Lips, Snow Patrol, The Postal Service, Maroon 5, Audrey de Montigny and Steve Barakatt. The global launch of Make Some Noise took place on 10 December 2005, International Human Rights Day, with the release of four exclusive singles available as digital downloads. A fundraising album, Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur, followed.
