"Open Your Heart" is a song by American singer Madonna from her third studio album True Blue (1986). It was released as the album's fourth single in November 12, 1986 by Sire Records. It has since appeared remixed on the compilation albums The Immaculate Collection (1990) and Celebration (2009). Originally a rock 'n roll song with the title "Follow Your Heart", it was written for singer Cyndi Lauper by songwriters Gardner Cole and Peter Rafelson, although it was never played to her. Since Madonna's management was looking for new songs for True Blue, she accepted it. Madonna altered some of the lyrics and changed the composition to suit the dance-pop genre, giving her a co-writer credit for the song. Lyrically "Open Your Heart" is a love song, talking about innocent feelings of boy-meets-girl romance and Madonna expressing her sexual desire.
The song was well received by critics who commended it for being a simple love song. It was also successful commercially, reaching the top-ten of the charts in Belgium, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, also reaching the top of Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, thus making it Madonna's fifth US number-one single. The music video, however, portrayed a different concept of the song. Madonna played an exotic dancer in a peep-show club, who befriends a little boy and subsequently escapes. It was critically acclaimed for portraying a completely opposite perspective of "voyeuristic male gaze and object", and depicting innocence rather than sexual overtones, although the entry of a child in a strip club was negatively criticized. The video was an homage to actresses Liza Minnelli and Marlene Dietrich.
Sonic Adventure (ソニックアドベンチャー, Sonikku Adobenchā) is a platform video game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega. It was originally released for the Dreamcast as a launch title in Japan in 1998, and worldwide in 1999. It was the first game in the main Sonic the Hedgehog series since Sonic & Knuckles was released in 1994.
After series villain Doctor Eggman releases an ancient monster, protagonist Sonic the Hedgehog vows to stop him collecting the Chaos Emeralds. The other playable characters are flying fox Miles "Tails" Prower, love interest Amy Rose, Knuckles the Echidna, who plans to reassemble the Master Emerald, angler Big the Cat, and E-102 Gamma, one of Eggman's robots.
Sonic Adventure received generally positive reviews for its graphics, gameplay, and soundtrack. It became the best-selling Dreamcast game. A sequel, Sonic Adventure 2, was released in 2001 for the Dreamcast. Enhanced ports of the game were released in 2003 for the Nintendo GameCube and Microsoft Windows. It has since been re-released as a downloadable game for Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade, and PlayStation 3 via PlayStation Network in 2010. It is also included in the Dreamcast Collection for the Xbox 360.

"Open Your Heart" was the Icelandic entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2003, performed in English by Birgitta.
It is a dramatic ballad, set off by guitar chords. Birgitta sings to her lover, asking him to "open his heart, show her the pain" and that this will "show me who you are". She also reminds him that "I'm not gonna run away" when he tells him what he has to. In other words, she will offer him whatever support is required.
The song was performed first on the night (preceding Austria's Alf Poier with Weil der Mensch zählt). At the close of voting, it had received 81 points, placing 8th in a field of 26.
One of Birgitta's backing singers, Regína Ósk, would go on to represent Iceland in the 2008 contest as part of Euroband.
It was succeeded as Icelandic representative at the 2004 contest by Jónsi with Heaven.
A version of the song in Icelandic "Segðu Mér Allt" (English: "Tell Me Everything") was also recorded. This version uses a slightly different production and is 14 seconds longer than the Eurovision version.
