One Day is a novel by David Nicholls, published in 2009. Each chapter covers the lives of two protagonists on 15 July, St. Swithin's Day, for twenty years. Nicholls adapted his book into a screenplay; the feature film, also titled One Day, was released in August 2011.
Dexter and Emma spend the night together following their graduation from Edinburgh University in 1988. They talk about how they will be once they are 40. While they do not become romantically involved completely, this is the beginning of their friendship. The novel visits their lives and their relationship on July 15 in successive years in each chapter for 20 years. Emma wants to improve the world and begins writing and performing plays, which remain unsuccessful, while Dexter travels through the world, drinking and hooking up with women. Eventually both move to London where Emma becomes a waitress in Kentish Town at a Tex-Mex restaurant, while Dexter becomes a successful television presenter.
Madison Park may refer to:
Madison Park is an 8.3 acre (34,000 m²) park in the Madison Park neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, located between the western shore of Lake Washington on the east, 42nd Avenue E. on the west, E. Madison Street on the north, and E. Blaine Street on the south. 43rd Avenue E. divides it into two sections; the east is a swimming beach and public dock, and the west is a playground, playfield, and tennis courts. Next to the beach is Madison Park Co-op, a community playhouse for toddlers and children.
For the first 19 years of its existence, the Madison Street Cable Railway ran on Madison Street from Elliott Bay to the park. Service was cut back to 21st Avenue in 1910. In addition, from the early 1880s to August 31, 1950, there was ferry service from Madison Park across the lake to Kirkland. (The construction of the Lacey V. Murrow Memorial Bridge in 1940 had greatly reduced demand and the continued existence of the run could no longer be justified after tolls were removed in 1949.)
Madison Park is an American electronica duo composed of DeAnna and James Cool.
Madison Park released some of their first tracks on the first two volumes of New Sound Theory, a pair of chill-out compilations released in 2003 through basicLUX Records. The record label was founded by the duo in 2002. When their track “My Personal Moon” on Volume 1 unexpectedly hit the Billboard Dance Singles Sales Chart, they decided to push-up the release of a full Madison Park album titling it, Boutique. This first album, Boutique, was released in 2004, and "Ocean Drive", the first single from the album entered as the "Hot Shot Debut" on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart peaking at #12. In 2005, their remake of Roxy Music's "More Than This" also charted on Billboard's Dance Top 30 and became the second most played dance-track on internet radio for 16 consecutive weeks, as well as appearing in the Top 10 iTunes Dance section. In 2006, “I’m Listening”, a single from their sophomore album, In the Stars, also became a Billboard Dance charting track.
as long as she doesn't articulate much, this is just an attempt of 'decryption' :
'In The Stars' (album "In The Stars")
Madison Park - DeAnna Cool
Distance stands between us
Causing so much pain
.... ( "until stock I had a tie" ) ?? !!! -- well, that's fashionable I believe ...
And in the sky I see your face
In the long distance of night
far away, far away
It's through them I see your face
far away, far away
As long as (either range ?), (I arrange ?), (I surrend ?) the sky
You're not so far away
.... 'can we have protect head ?' -- Sure. (you mean, a helmet ... ?)
.... stars are (so) fast and high
'distance ... ( 'goodnite' ?? ) get some slices' ( ?? ! ) -- you mean, pancakes ... ?
... '(in what respect ... ??)' they're still the stars -- ever. for quite a long time, it seems
stars ... stars ... stars ... stars ...
In the long distance of night
far away, far away
It's through them I see your face
far away, far away
As long as (either range ?), (I arrange ?), (I surrend ?) the sky
You're not so far away
Conclusion : chew gum and marshmallow pie, or sing, but FCS, please make a choice ...
