"One and One" is a song written by Billy Steinberg, Rick Nowels and Marie-Claire D'Ubaldo. The song was performed by Robert Miles (feat. Maria Nayler) and by Edyta Górniak.

Robert Miles version

"One and One" was the third single of Italian electronic dance musician Robert Miles, released on 4 November 1996 from his debut album Dreamland and his second hit, it features English singer Maria Nayler on vocals. "One and One" was Robert Miles second number one on the US dance charts.

Background

Miles is known by some collectors of CD singles for the quotes he includes on his jewel case inserts, succinct expressions of what he was attempting to communicate in writing and producing the song. Of One and One Miles wrote:
