Jack McGee (born February 2, 1949) is an American television and film character actor. He has appeared in over 100 films and television series.
McGee is perhaps best known as Chief Jerry Reilly on the television series Rescue Me. He was a regular cast member on the FX series for three seasons. In 2010, he co-starred as Hickey on the Spike TV comedy series Players.
McGee was born in the South Bronx, New York, the youngest of eight children. He attended Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx,where he was class president and also played on the Football team, and appeared as a member of the background harmony in The Young Rascals. In 1977, he became a firefighter for the New York City Fire Department in order to pursue his acting career. As a firefighter, he served with FDNY Engine Co. 89 and Ladder Co. 50 in the Bronx. His first wife was Eileen. His first major role was in the 1985 firefighter film Turk 182.
McGee provided the voice for Mr. White in the 2006 Reservoir Dogs video game. He also is the voice of Big Ed in the World War II game Real Heroes: Firefighter, as well as the driver and engineer in the movie Backdraft.

Jack McGee (1885 – June 13, 1918) was a pioneer aviator.
McGee was born in 1885 in Central Falls, Rhode Island to Robert McGee. His family moved to Pawtucket, Rhode Island when he was 15 in 1900. He was a boxer and worked as an elevator operator and auto mechanic before working as a chauffeur for James C. McCoy. McGee took flying lessons from Harry Atwood and Arch Freeman at Atwood Park in Saugus, Massachusetts. The school closed before McGee could finish his training, but he believed that he had received enough instruction and purchased his own plane. He made his first solo flight in August 1912. In 1917, McGee went to work as a test pilot for the Gallaudet Aircraft Corporation.
On June 13, 1918 he was flying a floatplane low over Greenwich Bay when his pontoon dipped into the water, causing his plane to topple into the water where he drowned.

McGee was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He attended Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, and played university football for the Queen's Golden Gaels.
In 1954, he played for the Toronto Argonauts and, in 1955, he played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He and his wife Mary had four children, Steven, David, Suzi, and J.R..
He died on August 16, 2009, in Peterborough, Ontario, at the age of 77.
