"Fall Back Down" is a song by the American punk rock band Rancid. It was released as the first single from their sixth album, Indestructible. It peaked at number 13 on the US Modern Rock Tracks.
"Fall Back Down" was written by Tim Armstrong and Lars Frederiksen after Tim's divorce with Distillers' vocalist Brody Dalle, and is about friendship. The video featured guest appearances from Benji Madden of Good Charlotte and Kelly Osbourne, a move which was criticized by some Rancid fans as a sign that they had sold out.
The song features three guitar solos, two by Tim Armstrong and one by Lars Frederiksen.
This track was featured on 2004's Tony Hawk's Underground 2 and NASCAR Thunder 2004 video games. It was also used in the ending credits of a 2004 movie Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London and in the opening of Brody Jenner's reality TV show Bromance. It was also used in the 2015 movie The Wedding Ringer.
Canadian musician Lights recorded a cover for her EP titled "Acoustic" in 2010.
Get Rich or Die Tryin' is the debut studio album by American rapper 50 Cent. It was released on February 4, 2003, by Aftermath Entertainment, under a joint venture with Shady Records, and distributed by Interscope Records. Its initially planned release was pushed seven days ahead due to heavy bootlegging and Internet leakage. The album was produced by Dr. Dre and Eminem, and featured guest appearances from Eminem and G-Unit associates Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo.
The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 872,000 copies in its first week. It generated four singles, including the number one hits "In da Club" and "21 Questions", and the international hit "P.I.M.P." By 2016, Get Rich or Die Tryin' sold 8.4 million copies in the United States and is certified 8× platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Upon its release, the album received favorable reviews from most music critics and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album, losing to OutKast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below at the 46th Grammy Awards. It ranked number 37 on Rolling Stone's list of best albums of the 2000s.
Fall back is a feature of a modem protocol in data communication whereby two communicating modems which experience data corruption (due to line noise, for example) can renegotiate with each other to use a lower-speed connection. Fall forward is a corresponding feature whereby two modems which have "fallen back" to a lower speed can later return to the higher speed if the connection improves.
A common feature modems was the concept of fallback, allowing them to talk to less-capable modems. During the call initiation the modem would play a series of signals into the line and wait for the remote modem to "answer" them. They would start at high speeds and progressively get slower and slower until they heard an answer. Thus, two USR modems would be able to connect at 9600 bit/s, but, when a user with a 2400-bit/s modem called in, the USR would "fall back" to the common 2400-bit/s speed. This would also happen if a V.32 modem and a HST modem were connected. Because they used a different standard at 9600 bit/s, they would fall back to their highest commonly supported standard at 2400 bit/s. The same applies to V.32bis and 14400 bit/s HST modem, which would still be able to communicate with each other at only 2400 bit/s.

You fall down twenty times a day and say the road camp up and tripped you.
I found a drink you threw away you said it's something someone slipped you.
And oh I could be like that
Oh you didn't know that I could be like that
I will make the same mistake over and again I'll fall back down
You said there's nothing more to say, you're one week late no one to talk to
I'll find a place where you can stay, I'll be the face you can talk to
And oh I could be that
Oh you didn't know that I could be like that
