Forgiven, Not Forgotten is the debut album by Irish folk rock group The Corrs. It was released by Atlantic Records on 26 September 1995 across the world. The album was primarily produced by David Foster, with additional production by Jim Corr. In January 1997, a special tour edition of the album was released in Australia and New Zealand and featured a bonus disc containing live and rare tracks which were recorded from their Forgiven, Not Forgotten World Tour.

The title track and the band was featured in an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210 called "Turn Back the Clock". The band performed the song at a New Year's Eve party at the Peach Pit After Dark. The album spawned five official single releases.

Tour

On 26 April 1996 the Corrs embarked on their Forgiven, Not Forgotten World Tour that started in Ennis, Ireland, before then travelling to Europe, Australia, Asia, America and Canada, ultimately lasting the better part of two years.

Just one day after this video was shot, the Corrs were also filming the video for their next single, "The Right Time". However, Atlantic US skipped "Forgiven, Not Forgotten" and didn't release it as a single.

The theme for the video is dark and brooding, which fits to the more serious lyrics about someone who has committed suicide and left someone else behind. The band is all dressed in black, the girl's makeup is very pale and there is not a lot of smiling. The video itself is pretty lowkey but yet effective in showing the Corrs on a rotating platform with various landscapes appearing behind them. Though supposed to convey some of that special Irish pop/Celtic mix, "Forgiven Not Forgotten" was shot in Santa Monica, California.

Not Forgotten may refer to:

"Not Forgotten" is the first single released under the Leftfield name; however, Paul Daley was not involved in the song's creation. The song was written by Neil Barnes and released only on 12" in 1990 on the Outer Rhythm record label, published by Rhythm King Music.

Reception

Electronic music magazine Mixmag praised the single as an important step forward for British house music. The magazine stated that "If any one record could be said to be responsible for finally making British house more respectable than its American and European cousins, 'Not Forgotten' was it. No longer would British house heads be constantly looking over their shoulders at New York, Ghent, Milan and Berlin. 'Not Forgotten' and subsequent Leftfield classics like 'Release The Pressure' and 'Song Of Life' were the cement that welded a whole new British house scene together. London proudly joined the league of house capitals. British dance music has never looked back."

Not Forgotten is a British television documentary series made by Wall to Wall for Channel 4. The series examines the impact on British society of the First World War. It is written and presented by Ian Hislop. The series' tie-in website was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Interactivity in 2006.
