Erindale Centre
The Erindale Centre is a designated group centre located in the Canberra suburb of Wanniassa. It stands on the former site of the Erindale Homestead for which it is named, and serves the suburbs of Wanniassa, Monash, Gowrie, Fadden and Oxley. Erindale was developed in 1985, two years before the Tuggeranong Hyperdome and was intended as a “district retail centre”.
Stores
A variety of retail and service outlets are located in the retail core, Erindale Shopping Center, accessed off Denigan Street and Grattan Court, including a Woolworths supermarket, a pharmacy, Cakery Bakery, Michel's Patisserie, Coffee Guru, a take away shop, Mr. Sushi, Erindale Meats and a St. George Bank branch. Several other outlets, including a 7-Eleven service station (converted from Mobil in 2011 after 7-Eleven acquired Mobil Australia outlets), are located in a mixed services area on the southern side of McBryde Crescent. Foundation Health Care and Erindale Chambers are located off Comrie Street.
A new Caltex Woolworths Fuel service station and retail complex were constructed on Denigan Street in 2006.
