Atticus Matthew Cowper Ross (born 16 January 1968) is an English musician, composer, producer, and audio engineer. Along with Trent Reznor, Ross won the Academy Award for Best Original Score for The Social Network in 2010. In 2013, the pair won a Grammy Award for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media for their soundtrack to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Ross was born in Ladbroke Grove, Greater London, the son of Roxana Lampson and Ian Ross, a founder of Radio Caroline. His sister, Liberty Ross, is a successful fashion model. His maternal grandfather was British diplomat Miles Lampson, 1st Baron Killearn. His great-grandfather was the noted Italian pathologist and bacteriologist Aldo Castellani. He was educated at Eton College, where he was a contemporary of future Prime Minister David Cameron and at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London.
Ross first came to notice in the mid-1990s as a programmer for Tim Simenon's Bomb the Bass during the period of the albums Unknown Territory and Clear. He worked on a number of production and remix projects with Simenon, as well as forming a collaborative relationship with Barry Adamson. He programmed The Negro Inside Me and Oedipus Schmoedipus, and produced As Above So Below before forming his own band, 12 Rounds, with Claudia Sarne and Adam Holden. They released two albums, Jitterjuice and My Big Hero. A third full-length album was produced by Trent Reznor, but was ultimately never finished. Three songs from that album have since been released on the band's website.

Revelations is the third and final studio album by the American rock supergroup Audioslave. The album was released on September 5, 2006 in the U.S., and a day earlier in the UK. Lead vocalist Chris Cornell departed the band shortly after, in February 2007. Brendan O'Brien, who has produced or mixed the albums of numerous major rock acts of the past twenty years, including Rage Against the Machine, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, The Offspring, Pearl Jam, King's X, Incubus, and Bruce Springsteen, reunited with Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk after producing the Rage Against the Machine albums Evil Empire and The Battle of Los Angeles and their cover of Springsteen's "The Ghost of Tom Joad".
Audioslave had 20 songs written (a few of which were sampled during their 2005 tour), and returned to the studio in early January 2006 to finish recording them. For Revelations, which was influenced by 1960s and 70s music, Cornell adopted his "seventies funk and R&B-flavor vocals." Guitarist Tom Morello described the sound as "Earth, Wind and Fire meets Led Zeppelin". Musically, the album is similar to Audioslave's previous album, but with a twist. The band incorporates soul and funk influences in many (if not all) of the songs on the album. Love, life and loss are all themes on the new album. Political activism is also starting to rear its head in Audioslave's music with songs such as "Wide Awake", which uses the Hurricane Katrina disaster and George W. Bush as subject matter.
"Broken City" is a DC Comics storyline that appeared in Batman #620-625, written by Brian Azzarello and illustrated by Eduardo Risso. It features the characters Batman, Killer Croc, The Penguin and the Ventriloquist.
Batman investigates the murder of Elizabeth Lupo, believed to have been killed by Killer Croc. Batman deduces that Lupo's brother Angel hired Croc to murder his sister. While chasing Angel down an alley, it appears the fleeing suspect murdered a father and mother leaving their son an orphan. Infuriated by the similarity of this murder to his own parents murder Batman interrogates various people, such as Margo Farr (Angel Lupo's lover), the Penguin and the Ventriloquist, in mad pursuit of Angel. At last Batman learns that Angel was innocent, Margo Farr hired Croc to murder Elizabeth and the newly orphaned boy murdered his own parents. All this time the Joker has been monitoring Batman's movements.
Following this story in the Batman comic book series are the events of "As the Crow Flies".
My city sleeps by the side of a freeway, the city scraps
And winter time she wore a yellow coat
Now there's nothin' on her back
If a building falls you wouldn't care to notice unless you were in it
Then no one cares about climbin' stairs, nothin' at the top no more
Outside trippin' in the broken city
Outside trippin' in the broken city, I watch a building crack
Outside trippin' in the broken city
Outside kickin' in the broken city, there's nothin' wrong with that
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Now the snow falls down like it's fallin' on an ocean
Dead and empty by the railroad tracks where they used to go and come
Now they don't come back
You can heal the rust, goin' up the throughways
Down the alleys where they stole this town from the frontier
I can see 'em tryin' to steal it back
Outside trippin' in the broken city (Outside trippin' in the broken city)
Outside trippin' in the broken city, I watch a building crack
Outside kickin' in the broken city (Outside trippin' in the broken city)
Outside trippin' in the broken city, there's nothin' wrong with that
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo
Now the sun won't shine on this part of the map
Anymore
When it's cold outside I see it hide behind the smokestacks
No thin roses, no goldrush, no miner, no revolution they'd hire
And the shipyard is a graveyard, no one will be trying to find him
Outside trippin' in the broken city (Outside trippin' in the broken city)
Outside kickin' in the broken city, I watch a building crack
Outside trippin' in the broken city (Outside trippin' in the broken city)
Outside kickin' in the broken city, there's nothin' wrong with that
Doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo (There's nothin' wrong with that)
Doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo do (Outside trippin' in the broken city)
