War Diary: Crusader features a large, dynamic map of towns, roads and deserts modeled after medieval Holy Land. Enemy towns and castles send out armies to take back lost ground, while bandits hide in caves and trade caravans are loaded with gold and spices. Gold can raise a mighty army but dissent or the desert sun can defeat it easily. Conquest alone is not enough but you must also complete specific tasks to appease the barons who elected you to lead.
