Suzani Cassiani
Suzani is titular professor of the Federal University of Santa Catarina and leader of the Group of Studies and Research Discourses of Science and Technology in Education, and Postgraduate Program in Scientific and Technological Education (PPGECT). She guides postdoctoral fellows, doctorate, masters, and scientific initiation. She has a degree in Biological Sciences with Specialization, MSc, and Doctorate in Education from UNICAMP (2000). In 2015, she carried out postdoctoral studies at the Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra-Portugal. She was a teacher in the public network of the state of São Paulo for 12 years (1988 to 1996). She also worked as a teacher for two years at Freinet Curumim School. At UFSC, she worked as Director of Teaching at the Graduate Rectorate, as Coordinator of PPGECT, between 2010 and 2012, and coordinated national network projects such as the Education Observatory. In 2009, she began the coordination of the Teaching Qualification Program and Portuguese Language Teaching / CAPES, international cooperation with Timor-Leste. She has given lectures and plenary lectures at national and international scientific events, organized scientific events (ENPEC, EREBIO, among others), served on the editorial boards of different journals in the area. She is currently the coordinator of the Cooperation Agreement between UFSC and the National University of Timor Lorosa'e. Her research area involves discursive studies related to teacher education, coloniality effects and decolonial pedagogies in science education. She is Vice-President of the Brazilian Association of Research in Science Education (ABRAPEC) in the biennium 2017-2019. Fellow productivity of CNPq, 1C.

durante pouco mais de dois anos, cerca de 40 pessoas, entre
docentes orientadores e formadores universitários, estudantes
de mestrado e doutorado dos programas de pós-graduação em
Educação da UFSCar, em Ensino e História de Ciências da Terra da Unicamp e em Educação Científica e Tecnológica da UFSC,
estudantes em Iniciação Científica, a maioria de licenciaturas
em Biologia, Física, Química e Geografia, e professores das
redes públicas de ensino de diferentes cidades do Estado de
São Paulo e de Santa Catarina, dos ensinos fundamental e
médio. Reunimo-nos para pensar, na diversidade, um objeto
em comum: as questões do Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio,
o ENEM.
