Bothus podas (Wide-Eyed Flounder) is a type of flatfish native to the Mediterranean Sea and the eastern Atlantic. It is a demersal fish found at depths varying from 5m to 400m, typically growing to a length of 13cm. The width is about half its length. Its eyed side has a light brown colour, with darker spots.
