3 years ago I complete lost this plant to the soil …for days together there was nothing there and to a point I stopped watering it 
Then one day out popped a shoot of one leaf and slowly few more but it was always scanty and very leggy. But kept growing at a glacial pace.
It’s only last year when the fire broke out at my home and we relocated for 2 months I took this plant with me. A gardener at my in-laws home added this potting mix to my plant and that’s what turned it around completely 
After that it just grew ….
What I learnt about it in the process 

>They need full sunlight but indirect 
>Potting mix of equal parts enriched soil+peat moss+perlite (all available online)
