I have to confess that my favorite part of book design is creating the part and chapter openers.

Most books, if not all, are divided into chapters or sections. Though some will start off with headings that have an intricate and beautiful layout or image, most books just have monotonous titles. And while books are read for their content, it wouldn't hurt if you insert a chapter heading to keep your book interesting.
