Been playing off and on since '94

I'm an avid brewer and usually create a new deck every day. I have about 1,000 private decks that are under construction but am slowly working to get them all public. I am proud to have been at one point #1 Helper and #1 Decklord (not at same time), sat in Top 10 for both for a few months. I am also super grateful to T/O and yeaGO for a free T-shirt I proudly sport when possible!

I believe true brewers ascertain joy from the creative process and thus focus more on exploring new interactions and builds rather than putting the bulk of effort into tweaking and perfecting a single deck.

I don't really play competitively but I watch competitions (ProTour, etc) and read articles regularly. I play FNM and GameDay and Pre-Release as well as kitchen table. I enjoy watching other people play and offering input.

I have been accused of being a "collector" more than a player, which I suppose is true in some regards. I have always loved the flavor/lore/mythos of Magic and am prone to making decks that are more theme-oriented than win-oriented. Sometimes it's fun to play a deck that fits together cohesively rather than a jumble of the best cards smashed together.

I love me some big creatures, explosive plays and maverick decks! Never once played a "Net-Deck", always have to tweak something to make it my own. I value creativity and uniqueness in deck building. I am not stingy with my +1's. I upvote effort as well as my impression of the deck's strength or originality.
