Great Fishing. From May through October this is arguably the best fishing spot in the Peconic Bays.

  • This protected spit of land is among the most ecologically important on long island. The value of protecting land from human use, at times, is obvious. A sunset paddle to Jessups during the late summer is a great experience. The birds alone are stunning during all seasons. PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE THIS LAND. Do not land on Jessups Neck. If fishing, please try to limit your impact. If passing, please respect those fishing or in slow craft such as sail boats and paddlecraft - all too often motor boats scream by as if in some race.
