"Sam Vanderslice owned the dealership and AMX-1, from when it was
new. Nat Thompson and Don Leland worked at the dealership and both
drove the car. Nat drove it and set the SS/D NATIONAL RECORD at
ATCO, NJ  9/70. The record was taken from the DRAG-ON LADY car.
Don Leland drove the car to a new SS/C NHRA NATIONAL RECORD
and a IHRA SS/C WORLD RECORD in SS/C."
