Pumpkin Day 2014 was a huge success in our classroom! We did lots of writing, math, and science activities with our pumpkins. The heaviest pumpkin was 16 lbs and the lightest pumpkin was 2 lbs. We learned that pumpkins float, and some kids even predicted that correctly! We labeled all the parts of a pumpkin and learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin. It was a busy, fast day but I had lots of parents come in to help out! Thank you parents for sending in a pumpkin for each child to school! Thank you also for sending so many ingredients for pumpkin brew! Learning can be messy and sometimes loud, but that doesn't stop me! The pictures of these kids digging into their pumpkins are priceless! Look at those faces!
Shout out to Landon's dad, Aiden's mom, Gracelynn's mom, Cody's mom, and Sam's mom! We loved having your support on Pumpkin Day! Thanks for coming in.
