It's freezing and snowing in Aomori City so I thought I would write about the day my wife and I went with a couple of friends to Motosuka Beach in Chiba. We stayed the night at our friend's place who live in Urayasu.
青森市は寒くて雪も降ってるから夏のネタで書こうと思った。２０１５年の夏、僕と妻は浦安に住んでる友達の家に泊まり、翌日は本須賀海水浴場に行った。
Our friends live on the sixth floor of an aparment complex and we had a nice view of the sunset.
友達のマンションは６階にあって、良い夕日を見た。
You can even see the Tokyo Sky Tree from their apartment.
彼らのマンションから東京スカイツリーも見える。
My friend gave me a bottle of Hakkaisan Beer Izumi Weizen, a craft beer from Niigata Prefecture. Hakkaisan is mostly known for making Nihon-shu but I must say this beer was quite good.
友達から貰ったクラフトビールは新潟県八海山泉のヴァイッゼン。八海山は日本酒で有名ですが、このクラフトビールを結構の味わい。

Ｗe stopped somewhere for a light breakfast (brunch?) before arriving at the beach.

In the evening, Yukio and Reiko took us to a restaurant called [Ti-da]. I think it was an Okinawan restaurant.
夕飯に南国酒場「Ti-Da」に連れてくれた。浦安にある沖縄料理店と思う。

Soki soba (soki being stewed pork spare ribs), an Okinawan specialty.
沖縄名物のソーキそば。
Since we are at an Okinawa restaurant, it only seems appropriate to drink an Okinawan sake called Awamori.
沖縄料理店に邪魔してるので、やはり沖縄のお酒、泡盛も飲まなきゃいけないね。

Still it was a fun weekend. Winters in Aomori make you look forward to the spring and summer. It'll probably be the end of April when the snow completely disappears.
楽しい週末でした。冬の青森は雪が多いから春と夏の楽しみがたまらない。ま、４月の終わりくらいで雪が完全に消える。>
