Dragon Eggs!
Did everyone have an epic Game of Thrones day?! (And a Happy Easter?) Season 3 premiered last night and I made a set of three mini egg cakes as a hostess gift.
Mini chiffon eggs with Bavarian cream in the center. Two have buttercream frosting and the third is chocolate ganache. They are decorated to look like the three dragon eggs from Game of Thrones. And yes, they were quite delicious.

Wow, these look amazing! Can you tell me what kind of decorating tip you used to make the scales? I'm hoping to make some similar cookies for my hubby's 40th birthday!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I used just a rose tip skinny side out and layered them on for this project but you could probably use a leaf tip as well. (Sorry for this is such a crazy late response, first time ive logged in on a computer in over a year)
