A little something sparkly to ring in the New Year! How about we count down in style.

How do you celebrate the new year? What are your traditions?
Do you do resolutions?

The Mr. and I usually ring in the new year peacefully at home, watching a movie, relaxing, talking about the past year and the amazing things the new year will bring, and trying to stay awake until midnight. This new year 2014, is full of different. Things we've never done before, places we've never been before and people we have never met before.

It is a scary turnover- but also a very exciting turn over. My words again for 2014 will be gratitude and thanksgiving. I will be thankful in all things- even the stuff I don't understand. My heart was so full in 2013, I know it had to do with the perspective of gratitude in all things. My New Years resolution is simple- you can find it here. This will be printed and hung in my office to remind me daily.

I am looking forward to the New Year. The countdown is on!

Happy Tuesday!
Today is my first day off of from teaching in what feels like forever. It is nice when my contracts end and I have time to work on creative stuff and get my mind all prepped for Christmas!

I am also housebound, thanks to two flat tires and my car being in the shop :) - oh darn, house bound (no gallivanting, no shopping, no coffee with friends- all of which I love, all postponed 'til friday-shucks! which means 8 hours home alone with Timothy the Dog, my laptop and my creative mind- oy! I'm sooooooo excited!)

Anyhow, I wanted to share these super cute little Canadiana Silhouettes for cutting out :) black and white (can be printed on any paper and the stitching will be the colour of the paper you choose- or Canadiana plaid :)

Here we go again- Movember is upon us- are you sporting a 'stach?

This is the time of year where everyone has a little something-something growing on their upper lip. And to be quite frank, not everyone should be sporting a 'stach! It's a month where every man looks kinda creepy- but I know it's for a good cause, so I ignore it- most of the time :)

A Great printable for the man in your life who sports a moustache all year round, or who is growing one in support of Movember.
